Kimberly Hart was at her locker, getting her books for Miss Appleby's class when Derrick Ryder walked up.

"Hey, Kim," he greeted smoothly.

"Get lost," she retorted coolly.

"So, are you busy Saturday?" he questioned, positioning himself so that he was standing in front of her, theoretically trapping her. She scoffed.

"You have got to be kidding me," she answered. He really expects me to go out with him after what he did to me? she thought to herself.

"Come on, we could have a good time," he urged.

"Get lost, clod," she snapped.

"Hey, don't talk to me like that," he retorted, grabbing her arm.

"Hey! Back off!" a voice snapped. Kimberly turned to see Tommy, who was being flanked by Jason, Zack, Billy, and Trini.

"It's okay, you guys. You know I can handle Derrick Ryder," she assured, twisting her wrist in a way that forced him to let go of her. "Like I said, 'Get lost'," she continued.

"Not until you give me one good reason you won't go out with me this Saturday," Derrick insisted.

"Because she already said she'd go out with me," a voice told him. The group turned to see Skull with Bulk, who busy munching on something, close behind.

"You?" Derrick sneered.

"Him?" the Rangers and Bulk chorused. It only took a second for the girl to make a decision. Skull might've been annoying, but he at least he'd never hurt her.

"That's right. He asked me when I got here this morning and I said 'Yes'," Kimberly responded, moving away from Derrick and joining Skull, even putting her arm around his waist and he put an arm around her shoulders. Bulk, who was about to swallow, started coughing. The Rangers' jaws dropped in disbelief and Billy even took his glasses off, squinted, and then looked through them again. Derrick scoffed and walked away. As soon as he was out of sight, Skull pulled away.

"Thanks. That was really awesome," she told him.

"No problem," he responded. "I'm not going to hold you to it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I only said it because it looked like you were about to drop-kick him and I didn't want you to get into trouble."

"Okay. Thanks." Bulk watched in amazement as his friend walked back to him.

"Come on, guys. Let's get to class," Kimberly said. "Bye Skull." Then, still somewhat surprised, they walked with her to class, leaving behind a contented Skull and a confused Bulk.
