The room is dark that much she knows.

At first they cover her eyes with what feels like to be a tie. She can't hear them speak expect for a few words here and there.

Just enough to prove to her that their American. She knows what they want from her even without their clues.

And she's perfectly willingly to endure another torture session before they get it.

She's fought to hard and to long to end here.

So she braces herself for whatever they think is their worst.

Whatever hell they push on her.

What they don't know is every moment she's away from him, every second since their separation is worse then anything they can do to her.

This room's bright.

This room that they set her in, take off the tie then introduce her to LJ Burrows.

It's then Sara realizes what they really have planned. It's then she realizes she might not make it out of here alive.

They leave them alone for the first few hours.

"Who are you?" she can hear the fear in his voice. But she also hears the bravery she's starting to assume flows in the family blood.

"Sara Tancredi." She manages. Trying not to allow her own fear and worry into her voice.

"I heard about you. Jane told me about you." He rambles,

She doesn't ask who Jane is. From his tone she's not longer with them in the world of the living. She allows herself a moment to think of all the deaths this event has caused.

Then she remembers the feeling of Michael's arms around her, telling her it would all be alright….then throwing himself into hell for her. She quickly decides it's worth it.

"We're going to get out of here." She promises. They both hear the emptiness to it but neither remark on it. Better to have a false hope then nothing at all.

After a few moments he turns to her, she can see the bruises and all the other signs of his struggle.

"Why are they doing this?"

"To get to Michael." Sara says…it's the only logical conclusion.

LJ nods but says nothing. What's the point?

"I need you to be strong, LJ." She drops her voice to a mere whisper. "We're going to get out of this but I'm going to need you to stay with me."

She can see the tears building in his eyes. And without any hesitation Sara circles her arms around the boy and cradles him against her chest.

"We're going to be alright." She promises again.

She clings tighter when he barriers his head into her arm. It's in that instant Sara realizes she'll do whatever it takes to save this boy…and see Michael again.

Whatever it takes to end this.
