Logan walked out of the door of Domino High, and immediately focused his attention on Alannah. She sat on the foot of the steps, cross-legged and leaning over her black sketchbook. Her long golden hair shone where the sun hit it. She was every part beautiful, and she wore a lack strap top with matching black pleat skirt. As Alannah flicked her hair from her face, she revealed a small Celtic cross on her right shoulder.

"Hay!" Logan called to Alannah, who at this signal, slipped her sketchbook into her bag and stood up, throwing the bag over her shoulder.

"It's about time Logan. Where have you been?"

"Sorry. I had to pick up something from my locker. But as I'm here now, shall we?" Logan held his elbow out as a hock for Alannah's arm, which slide inside, hadn't they started to walk.

"Huh, its times like these that remind me why I dropped out of school." She turned to Logan. " So what was it you had to get from your locker?"

"Ahh, wait. You will see." He taps his nose suggestively. Alannah laughed at his small gesture.

"You know, you can be weird sometimes Logan."

"Says you, with your weird little book that nobody can look at.! He pulled Alannah close to him, and reached inside her bag, puling out her sketchbook. He didn't open it, as Alannah was reaching so high trying to retrieve her book.

"Logan please!" But it just so happened that Logan was so much taller than her, that no matter how hard she tried, she had no hope of ever being able to reach the book.

"What is it exactly you have in this little book? Being your best friend, I would have thought that you would have shown me by now."

"Its private! I told you that. Now can I please have my book back?" As Alannah reached as high as she could, Logan threw the book. It sailed through the sky and over a vine covered brick wall.

"Oh great. Thanks a lot Logan."

"Pleasure." Alannah growled at Logan.

"I was being sarcastic!" As Logan laughed at this comment, Alannah turned and hissed once more.

"Well. How am I going to get my book back?"

"Climb the wall?"

"I can't do that! Do you even know what hem walls surround?"

"No, but I think your about to find out." Alannah rolled her eyes at Logan, and then turned to face the wall once again. She sighed, and walked toward the vine-covered wall.

"Look at what you make me do."

"You know I only joke."

"Well your jokes are criminal Logan. Literally." Alannah started climbing the wall, slipping every now and then. When she reached the top, she hooked both legs over the wall, and gracefully jumped to her feet, into a thorn bush the other side.

"OUCH!"

"Are you okay?"

"Yes!" Alannah started pulling thorns out of her legs and screeched when she found, what seemed to be the hugest spider in the whole of the universe, dangling from her hair.

"Okay well I'll see you later then! Bye!"

"Logan you better be kidding me!" She waited patiently for a replay, with her ear held close to the wall, but none came.

"I am going to kill him!" Alannah muttered to herself.

Climbing out of the bush, Alannah spotted her sketchbook. Unfortunately it had landed safely in mud.

"Oh he is so dead." She slugged across the soggy grass and kneeled down, noticing that what she thought was mud was actually a lovely pile of dog poo.

" So so dead."

" Young lady! What are you doing?" A voice came from directly behind Alannah.

"Oh man."
