Hino Rei swept a pile of dust of the temple grounds she sighed and unconsciously wiped her brow. Sweep the temple was not hard work, it was just long and it felt longer on a hot summer day. She sighed, glad that she had finished the tedious work.
"I should have made Yuuichirou do this work" she muttered silently.
Yuuichirou worked at the temple along with Rei and her grandfather. Yuuichirou did have a crush on Rei, and still did, despite Rei telling him many times, she just wasn't interested in him.
"Well, he's persistent" she thought, giving him a positive trait.
As she returned to the front of the temple, Rei caught a glimpse of her friend Usagi walking towards the part of the shrine that was home to Rei and her grandfather. It was odd to see Usagi here when she was not forced to come here for studying or for Sailor Senshi meetings.
Rei kept following Usagi as she walked up to the door and then rang the bell. Rei shrugged and then tapped Usagi on the shoulder.
"Rei-chan!" Usagi exclaimed at the sight of her friend, then her voice turned into a hushed whisper, "Is anyone else here?"
"Except for Grandpa and I think Yuuichirou might still be here, why is something wrong?" Rei replied troubled that her usually bubbly friend seemed, well a bit subdued.
"Can we go inside to talk about it, if you laugh I don't want to noticed." Usagi replied.
"Of course" Rei said as she opened the door.
Usagi almost ran down the hallway into Rei's room and took her usual futon from Senshi meetings and studying.
Usagi sighed and then said "Rei-chan, I'm love with you"
At first Rei did not know what to day, she knew her and Usagi had a different type of relationship then the other senshi, and that there was that good feeling she felt when ever she was around Usagi.
"Please, tell me you love me! I broke up with Mamoru to be with you" Usagi begged.
"Usagi," Rei started, not quite sure what to say, "I want to be with you as well."
Rei saw Usagi smile, and then Usagi wrapped her arms around her.
"I love you, Usagi" Rei whispered.
