I Know It's Hard

A poem from the point of Remus about how hard it is to let go and survive after someone you are close to dies.

I know it's hard

To say good bye

To keep moving on

And not just lay down and die.

I know it's hard

To accept the fact

To let the anger go

And not badly act.

I know it's hard

To think of the good,

Not just the bad

And forgive as you should.

I know this is hard

'Cuz I've had to do it

My best friend died

When he wouldn't submit.

I know it's hard

'Cuz when we die

You feel so alone

And you ask yourself why.

I know it's hard

To say good bye

To keep moving on
