Author's Note: I just wrote this during creative writing... hence, the shortness. I'll add more tonight when I get home from school. But that isn't a promise.

She was supposed to go to a prestigious college and become something. She was supposed to make a name for herself and achieve the things her parents had never gotten to achieve. She was supposed to succeed and not only succeed but blow everyone else out of the water. But, of course, she had screwed up. Who could thrive with that kind of pressure riding on your shoulders? She was president of the student body, editor of the yearbook and the newspaper, a National Honors Society member and she had the highest GPA in the history of her school. But now, holding the offending object in her hand, she would soon have another title to add to the long list of her achievements. This one wouldn't bring her a certificate or a pleased smile on her father's face. This achievement she couldn't flaunt over the heads of her fellow classmates. In fact, this would send her to the bottom of the high school food chain with the rest of the screw ups. Teen mother, she thought, as she watched the stick in her hand turn to the most vicious color of pink she had ever seen.
