Xion was a princess who had been cursed when she was young so that when she was fifteen she would fall into a deep a kiss could break the curse but her aunt was the witch that cast the spell to put her to sleep. Her aunt Maleficent also turned into a fire breathing dragon which kept anyone who might come to break the curse away from the castle where Xion lay sleeping.
"Come on Vanitas I hear there's a girl in that castle who is sleeping waiting for true loves kiss"Ventus yelled to his brother. "Who cares about that kind of stuff I bet she's ugly or really old"Vanitas said. "I heard she was our age plus we get to fight a dragon to get to the castle"Ventus said smiling. Vanitas didn't understand why his brother believed in fairy tales but he would love to fight a dragon. They approached the castle and were greeted by a big black and purple dragon with glowing yellow eyes that breathed green fire. "I didn't know it breathed green fire"Ventus said narrowly dodging the fire. "Distract it I have an idea"Vanitas said running towards the dragon. Once Ventus had it distracted Vanitas jumped on the dragons back and started slashing at its neck with his the dragon turned to fight Vanitas it allowed Ventus to attack it from the continued this double team assault till the dragons head was completely separated from its body. "That was fun"Ventus said. "Yeah if you consider almost being burned to pieces fun"Vanitas said. "Lets go find the princess"Ventus said rushing inside the castle. They decided to split up since the castle was so big. Vanitas was about to turn around and go back to the entrance until he saw a blue light in the followed it to outside one of the rooms which he went he went in there he saw the blue light he followed standing over a beautiful girl. "So this is the girl Ventus was talking about"Vanitas thought. Then the blue light turned into a fairy. "Hello deary I saw you defeat Maleficent so you must be here to break the curse"the blue fairy said. "Actually my brother is the one that heard about the curse I just came with him"Vanitas said honestly. "I think he would be the one to break the curse"Vanitas said. "Well since he isn't here yet will you at least try"the fairy asked. "She's pretty but I really don't think I'm the right guy"Vanitas said. "Please just try and I will go look for your brother."the fairy begged. Once Vanitas agreed she left the room to look for Ventus. Vanitas went and stood by the edge of the bed looking at the beautiful girl she looked so innocent. He slowly l=bent down and gently placed his lips on hers. He pulled away slightly disappointed that nothing happened until her eyes fluttered open. "Who are you"the girl asked. "My name is Vanitas"Vanitas said still shocked he had broken the curse. "Thank you for breaking the curse my name is Xion"the girl said sitting up and kissing him on the cheek. This made him blush "Maybe coming here with Ventus wasn't such a bad idea"he thought as he looked at Xion.
