Tony Tyler was only three years old when the Doctor came into his life. Ever since then he has guided him like a brother-in-law should.
Chapter one: How to deal with girls at the park.
Tony was on seesaw with his best friend Johnny Marksman, while the Doctor and Rose were watching him, when Johnny had to leave Tony sat on his end sad, when a girl came up to him.
"Can I play with you?" she asked.
"NO." Tony shouted at her.
The little girl started to cry, Tony was about to get up and leave when he heard a voice.
"What's going on here?" a male voice asked. The Doctor came over to see what was going on.
"She is crying because I don't want to play with her." Tony responded.
"Say you are sorry Tony and you will let her play with you."
Tony did as he was told, even letting her on the other end of the seesaw.
"What is your name?" Tony asked the mysterious girl now taking in her features, she had blonde hair like his sister's except it was curly, and her eyes were brown, and she had a yellow dress on.
"Daisy." She responded now happy to play with Tony.
"I'm Tony." He responded.
Back at the bench both the Doctor and Rose watched with grins on their faces.
"What did you say to him?" Rose asked.
"Told him to say he was sorry and let her play with him." The Doctor responded.
A woman came up to them both, she looked like an older version of Daisy.
"Sorry to interrupt you, but I was wondering if that little boy is your son?" she asked.
"No, he is Rose's little brother, we brought him here, his best friend left and your daughter came up to him. I straightened him out the rest is history." The Doctor said with a grin.
"Well I am Jane Rogers, that girl is my daughter Daisy."
"She is a sweet child, she seems to like Tony."
"Well, I should be taking Daisy home, will you be here with him tomorrow?"
"Not sure, his parents may want to bring him." Said the Doctor
"Here is my house number in case you want to schedule a play date with Daisy." Jane slipped the couple a piece of paper. Rose gave her a piece in return with the mansion's number.
The couple and Jane went to the seesaw to get their charges only to see them cry as they moved away.
"Don't worry it is only a little while, if you're lucky she may even would like to come to the mansion or you can go to her house." Rose said to Tony calming him down.
"Bye Daisy" he said to the girl.
"Bye Tony" she responded with the same hurt.
As the trio went to the mansion both adults sat at the table telling Jackie and Pete today's events. As the little boy was upstairs napping.
"He is going to like that."
Back at the Doctor's and Rose's flat.
"Thanks for helping with Tony today." Rose responded rubbing his shoulders.
"Rose I do almost every day after Torchwood's odd hours or even our days off." He responded happy as the pain in his shoulders was flowing away.
"No I mean in a father figure type way." She said now kissing his chest.
"Are you saying I can be a father?"
"Maybe." She said grinning.
He grinned back.
Well there you have chapter one of Guidance. Since Tony doesn't have a name tag in the fanfic department and I am a ship writer I thought a little 10/Rose with the Doctor helping Tony in life would work.
