Flashback 1

Brightkit woke up, looking arouned, and she sawed... darkness, that was because her eyes were closed, she was only half a moon old and would be opening her eyes soon. Brightkit feeled milk, and wondered how her mother looked like so with a lot of focusing... She sawed her mother's pelt. It was cream and her eyes were she wasn't even praised. Instead all that she could hear was about Vanillakit.

"Vanillakit is so beautiful! I can't wait for her eyes to open!"- Brightkit's mother said.

"Yes, Lightfur, I can't wait too. This is your and Brownclaw first litter, I would so excited as you, If it was my first."- another queen replied.

Later Brightkit didin't listen, excepted her ears cathing another praise of Vanillakit every minute.

But if Vanillakit was special, then who she was?

That was the first straw beetwen Brightkit and her parents.

Flashback 2

Brightkit walked arouned sadly, not knowing what to do. Her parents were playing with Vanillakit, and she felt... left out... Why she was so invisble? Why Vanillakit had all the atention? Her parents didn't even spare her a glance... Yes, her mother feed her, but whiout affetion, like she did this out of... duty?

"WHat are you doing here, kit? Not playing with your parents?"- a she-cat asked Brightkit what she was doing here.

"If only they would..."- Brightkit replied sadly

"Would? But t-they surley play with you, right?"- the she-cat replied confused.

"No... Only Vanillakit matters to them... Vanillakit is pretty, Vanillakit plays mossball well, Vanillakit is swift, Vanillakit, Vanillakit..."- Bightkit replied her voice small and quiet.

"I'm sure they love you though. THey love you both equley, just they wanted to play with Vanilakit this time..."- the she-cat replied confused even more.

But Brightkit feeled like the she-cat had lied. THat day she began, to hate her parents.
