Hey guys! So I recently saw Oz the Great and Powerful, and I felt compelled to write about it. My version will just include my interpretations and what I came across from watching the film. I felt that certain scenes could've been explained a bit more and that's what I'm here to do! I'm here to add some spice! So don't hate me guys cuz this is also my very first fanfic! ENJOY! (P.S. This first chapter is just based off of what I remember from the movie, so excuse me of some stuff isn't right. Once I get a hold of the movie I'll fix it!) (P.S.S. The story starts off when Oscar addresses the people of Oz as they're about to go fight the WWW.)
Oscar looked down at all the people that were gathered. Never before did he have such an audience! And even though he wasn't really the wizard they were hoping for, he would give them all he had, and he would give them the performance of a lifetime
"Great people of Oz, as you know, we're off to fight the Wicked Witch of the West, along with her sister, Evanora."
"Now I know we don't have an army of soldiers with weapons and what not. But we have an army of people who have created things that are far better than any other armies' will ever be!"
"We have used our wit, ingenuity, and cleverness to create said things, and will use them to defeat the wicked witches. And remember: Anything is possible, if we just believe."
The people of Oz all exploded into applause and cheers. Never had they felt so optimistic. Not ever since their king had died. But now, they had a new feeling: a sense of hope. They had Oz.
But the people of Oz weren't the only ones to have those good feelings. Oscar also had started to believe in himself. He now truly believed that anything was possible if you just believed.
He felt confident that they would definitely win a fight against the witches. With everything they had in store for them? Yes, they would definitely win.
He was slowly becoming the man he always strived to be: A great man.
