They were walking back to Tony's after a night out to dinner. Despite the past couple of days at work the two decided they needed to spend some quality friend time together. It was the part of the new them that Tony always found the best. Just getting to spend time with her outside of work was all he wanted. Well it wasn't the only thing he wanted but that was for the future when he was sure she was ready for a relationship. She was wearing a gorgeous blue dress and he couldn't take his off her when she opened the door. He had worn a white dress shirt, a sport coat, and his work pants along with a black tie. They had gone to a quiet restaurant and had just a little wine and a lot of laughs. Since it wasn't far from Tony's they decided to walk back and watch a movie. They reached just outside his apartment at a little after midnight. Little did they know they were being watched and recorded. Before they went in Ziva stopped him. "Tony something is bothering you. This... and he grabbed her and kissed her with all the passion that had been built up for years. When the two finally let go she whispered in his ear. "I love you too Tony". Then that goofy DiNozzo smile that she loved appeared on his face and all he could say was "Well then how about we go and watch that movie I promised?"
