A New Home
Wood woke up by the flower bed in the front yard. The sun was beating down of dark brown fur. He lay there wondering how long he had been there. He heard a rustling and whipped around. There behind him was a plump fat mouse. He watched it scurry across the ground. He had never had a mouse but he had heard that they are the best thing ever! He had to jump over the fence separating the forest and his home and then he might have his first mouse. He silently crept up and leaped up on top of the fence. He looked at the ground and saw it munching on a seed. He crouched down getting ready to make his first kill. As he leaped off the fence another cat soared out of the forest and knocked Wood out of the air. Wood got up stunned, before the other cat lunged at him again this time claws unsheathed. But this time Wood dodged.
"What's your name?" Spat the other cat Furiously.
" W-W-W-W-W-Wood" he Stuttered.
"Okay then kittypet" he replied.
"Your" he paused.
"Different from other kittypets"
"Okay..." Wood didnt know if that was a compliment or an insult.
He stared into the other cats eyes and thought he saw them change colour. He didnt know if it was from that cat knocking the breath out of him but he swore he saw his eyes change colour. It kind of scared him but he would get over it.
"So whats your name?" asked Wood.
"Dawnpaw" Replied Dawnpaw.
"From Waterfallclan!" Said Dawnpaw proudly.
"Whats that?" asked Wood confused.
"Oh,forgot your a kittypet you wouldn't know about us." Bragged Dawnpaw.
"Then tell me" suggested Wood.
"Fine" Replied Dawnpaw Seriously.
