Prologue

Rivals… That's what we are. We always fought like cats and dogs, trying to outsmart and win in each other's challenge. He was the smart one, the stronger, faster and the popular one. He was at the top of the school's hierarchical system, beloved and respected by all.
While I? Heh, you would begin to think that I am a rich, talented child, but I'm not. In truth, I am an outcast of the school's caste system. Everyone hated me. Maybe it was the fact that my father was known as the Kyuubi, the famed thief, murderer and rapist. Though I can't understand why they blamed me for that, I am just a product of his rapes after all, thrown by my mother like some sort of garbage, just to forget her unfortunate accident.
Luckily, Iruka-sensei found me just outside his door. There had been a major controversy about that and Iruka-sensei nearly gave up in gaining rights to raise me, but thanks to his boyfriend, they managed to find a way.
But despite being shouldered and reared by the two most respectable teachers of The Leaf University, I was still given cold looks and treated like some sort of freak, a mistake, and a reject.
That is when I met Sasuke. Gah!! He's so stuck up and a perfect bastard. He is such a jerk that I even managed to challenge him to a fight and won. That is when life begins to take a turn for me.
He follows me everywhere, and treats me like dirt. Great… Now I have my personal bully! Lucky me! Please note the sarcasm, I am not in the mood to sulk and wallow in self pity. Heh as if that will gain me anything, I have better things to do than lay in corner and get depressed.
I will do my best! For I, Uzumaki Naruto shall rise to the very top of The Leaf Academy's hierarchical system and become the very best. Just you wait, I will be the best!!

Goal: As this is my first time trying to delve deeper into Sasuke and Naruto's relationship, I seek to draw out the very meaning of their relationship, not just "I wrote SasuNaru because they look hot together". This story focuses on the emotional aspects and analysis of their relationship in the anime. This is my first time in actually writing a real and serious SasuNaru. Any critics, corrections, insights and feedbacks are welcome. May you all pick some insights and lessons as the story progresses.
