A host comes out to greet the audience on a desolate stage "Hello and welcome to the very first but probably not last season of Grand Race. And what exactly is Grand Race you ask? Oh you didn't ask that? Well I'll just explain it anyways," He laughed in good humor "Grand Race is where we take 5 teams of 5 anime characters from 5 separate worlds and put them through an 'obstacle course' for some great prizes. That is all we told our contestants," He smiled slyly as a train pulled up behind him "as you might guess that is not the whole story by far we will dump our contestants off in an huge environment covering every Resident Evil game through code: veronica ( starting with Zero) except the outbreak games." he nodded and brought up a score board "The teams are as listed." he announced and the teams came up
nuyasha: Inuyasha ,Kagome, Mirokou, Sango(includes Kilala), and Shippo
Yu-Gi-Oh: Yugi(includes Yami), Joey, Tristian, Tea, and Seto Kaiba
One Piece: Luffy, Zolo, Sanji, Ussop, and alas the heavenly Nami ( even in the anime)
Zatch Bell: Kyo, Zatch, Suzy (shudder), lopopo, Apollo
Trigun: Vash, Meryl, Millie, Wolfwood, and Brilliant Dynamites Neon
He whipped out a microphone "what tortures will our contestants face? Why everything from a zombie to a Tyrant of course yes even the most kick ass Tyrant of them all Nemesis. Who will die, who will survive, and who will win The Grand Race? Find all that out and more including why this is not an authors note in the next Chapter of GRAND RACE!"
