"Why are you always so keen on visiting me?" Apollo inquired, giving Hermes a strange look. The God of Thieves stood there, hands clasped behind his back and swaying back and forth. He appeared as a nineteen year old man, with curly brown hair and a amused smirk playing forever across his face. His brown eyes twinkled mischievously as he just grinned at the Sun God.

"I have a message for you," He replied. "Zeus wants-"

"Oh shut up," Apollo cut him off. "We both know half the messages you come here with are fakes. I just want to know why you insist on finding excuses to be here." Apollo was definitely one of the more curious Gods, and he really wanted to know what crazy scheme Hermes was concocting in that conniving little brain of his. He'd been to 'deliver messages' to Apollo at least 20 times in the last month, and hardly any of them had actually been real or of any importance. There'd been a small fiasco when he'd thought Zeus had summoned him a week ago and he'd gone to Olympus just to realize the Zeus had needed absolutely nothing.

"Well, I- uh- you see-" Hermes stuttered, suddenly nervous. Apollo pushed his golden bangs from his golden eyes, sighing impatiently. "Out with it, already!" He exclaimed. Hermes took a tiny step back, cowering slightly. Apollo's anger was always kind of scary. Oftentimes the angry God looked as though he were covered in shimmering, deadly flames. Butterflies filled Hermes's stomach and he adjusted the golden hat on his head.

"I come to say hello?" He tried, forcing a smile onto his face. Apollo's eyes narrowed. Hermes just loved to play games with him. It was like the long ago cattle incident all over again! Of course, this wasn't nearly as bad, but Hermes still deserved a taste of his own medicine.

"Perhaps," Apollo began, a smirk coming to his face. "You come because you find me handsome and irresistible. Have you fallen in love with me, Hermes?"

"I- I- uh…" Hermes flushed red with embarrassment, and Apollo enjoyed watching him squirm. "Apollo, I-" He looked down at the ground, biting his lip. Apollo watched him for a moment before the realization hit him and his eyes went as wide as saucers.

"You have, haven't you?" He asked incredulously. "Oh my Zeus, you've fallen in love with me!"

Hermes glanced up at the other god, cheeks dusted with a tremendous blush that made his freckles stick out. He nodded almost imperceptibly. He may have been a mischievous and friendly God, but he was painfully shy when it came to anything regarding his feelings. "Do you hate me?" He asked in a whisper, his winged shoes scuffing at the ground.

Apollo just sated at him for a moment, filled with shock. "I-" He shook his head, attempting to clear it. Gender didn't really matter to the Gods, he'd just never expected Hermes of all people to fall for his charm. Hermes, with his big brown eyes and mischievous smile, thin and gorgeous. Apollo smiled suddenly, making a decision. "I don't hate you." He said seriously, placing a hand on the other god's shoulder. Hermes looked up, hopeful.

"You don't?" The wings on his sandals flapped excitedly, pushing him a few inches into the air. Apollo chuckled, leaning forward. He and Hermes were about the same height with those few extra inches.

"I might go as far as to say I like you," Apollo smirked, leaning to press a soft hiss to Hermes's lips. The brunette's eyes widened in surprise, but he kissd back eagerly. When they pulled apart, both were grinning.

"I've wanted to do that for ages!" Hermes exclaimed, shoes lifting him even higher.

"Well then get back here so we can do it again!" Apollo laughed, feeling light-hearted. Hermes hastened to obey.
