Way out of his league, like, way out of his league. As in Aphrodite way out of his league. Travis was having issues with Katie being out of his league. She was just so pretty, and a complete cutie when it came to her personality. So of course, Travis did the most logical thing. That was to get her attention, using his most impressive skill. Being a son of Hermes had its perks, which was pranking and stealing. Mostly pranking was used to get Katie's attention, though Travis had stolen her hairbrush once. Never again.
Shaking off his somewhat depressing thoughts, Travis continued to set up the rest of his prank. He worked quickly, since he only had around five minutes until Katie came through the door. It was a classic prank, but it never was old. Travis finished up hooking the buckets up, and went to his signature hiding bush and waited. When Katie began walking towards the door, the son of Hermes's heart rate sped up.
Katie tripped on the wire, and was immediately covered with glue and chicken feathers. Travis immediately started laughing, and a few other people who were with Katie laughed too, but they all stopped when Katie ran off with a choked sob. They stood in stunned silence, but Travis broke the tense atmosphere by running right after the crying girl.
The daughter of Demeter made it as far as the forest until Travis finally stopped her, grabbing her wrist. Her hair dripped with glue, and she looked like a mess. But Travis felt extremely bad for her, and when she turned her head around, he leaned in and kissed her.
A few moments passed, and they both leaned away.
"Do you want me to take you on a date to make up for this?"
