Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto. If I did, I don't know that I'd have the guts to give out such bizarre names.

Most people believe that Tsunade is training Sakura to be exactly like her. She sees how they might think that; her student is quickly learning her trademark healing skills and strength. To any shinobi, it would seem that Sakura is the next Tsunade, down to their infamous tempers.

The truth of the matter though, is that she is training the girl to be her exact opposite. When Tsunade is done, Sakura will be strong enough to never go to pieces. Sakura will always pick herself back up instead of waiting for someone to come rescue her. And Sakura will be self-sufficient and secure enough to think of Sasuke without having her memories of him sour.

Because one day everyone she loves will be dead, and it's easier to hate yourself for surviving as an alcoholic and a gambler. And once you hate yourself, it's easier to believe that you need someone else to pick you up than to do it yourself. And it's much, much easier to believe that there was something lacking in you rather than in him, even if it makes you hate who you used to be too.

So sometimes, when Tsunade tells her student, "He isn't coming back, you know," with a finality in her voice that isn't entirely for Sasuke, and Sakura's only response is a determined glint in her eye and set to her jaw, Tsunade knows that she's doing something right. Because even though she gave up, she'll be damned if Sakura turns out anything like her.

So, good news and bad news. The good news is that 7-hour layovers result in creative productivity, and I have a couple more things that I'm going to post. The bad news is that my computer still isn't fixed, and I am putting this up in the dead of the night from my sister's computer, which I won't be able to do very often. Sorry guys. I'll definitely let you know when I'm back for real.

As always, this is unbetaed, so concrit will be petted and loved forever.
