"Mother, your singing lovely as always. How do you do it?" Shigure asked his mother. "Oh Shigure, I did not see you there." Azura responded acting surprised. "Well you do know what they say I was always a person full of surprises." Shigure replied chuckling. "Very true Shigure. That's a part of you that I love." Azura fixing her composure. "Now mother, how do you sing so well?" Shigure asking while tilting his head to the side curiously. "Well, it takes time and practice. I did though inherit it from my mother and father and now you have inherited my singing gene." Azura explaining thoughtfully. "I see it then, you must have been practicing for many years." Shigure replied. "Ah yes I have and I am truly glad that you have gained my singing gene. Makes you a beautiful singer like me." Azura said smiling at her son Shigure. "Hey mother, shall we go to the opera house to do a duet?" Shigure asked. "Oh that would be truly lovely, finally singing with my son, the dream I have always had." Azura said excitingly. "Let's go over then shall we?" Shigure asked. "I am prepared." Azura responded. "Running over to the opera house took little to no time considering they were practically by the opera house. Inside they requested a spot to sing and luckily they were up next. Preparing their voices and song they were going to perform, everything went well. "Azura and Shigure may you please come up to the stage and perform your duet." An announcer had called them. "Alright mother shall we dance?" Shigure asked with a smile. "That we shall dance." Azura responded. Heading onto the stage it was dimly lead to make a dramatic appear for them. Water around the stage with boats while Nohrians take their seats above the waters. The king had appeared in his on golden throne chair waiting to see if the performing artists would fail or prevail in their duet. The opera house is quiet, nobody talking then the crowd sees the duet on stage. "You are the ocean's gray waves ~" Shigure said with a proud voice, following by Azura "Destined to see life beyond the shores just out of reach" "Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time the path is your's to climb." Shigure stuttered a bit but it didn't make a vast change in his singing. The king was pleased yet displeased because of Shigure's stutter. Water appearing like crystals out of thin air due to Azura's pendant glowing though not harming her in anyway. " The king even more intrigued by the water, he started to lean towards the duet. "The rain falls, but can't wash away the mud." Shigure sang. "Within my ancient heart dwells madness and pride, can no one hear my cry?" Azura's voice started to lower in pitch while the room started to change from a normal yellow light to a more dimly radiant blue. Finishing the duet, the last few lyrics were told. "Sing with me one last time, for light's sacrifice" Shigure sang while starting to cry. "Hope falls only to rise like the changing tide." Azura sang. "Endless dawn came but not without a price, lost in the waves there glimmers a pale blue stone." Shigure running out of breath. "I think of you, all alone. " Azura finishing the last lyric. Everyone in the opera house singing while the scenery changed back to normal. "Outstanding performance!" Said the king. Azura and Shigure bowing while the curtaining closing.
