Author's Note: Here's Horror! Okay, so, I'm having trouble writing a fullchapter length story, so that's why I'm doing these one-shots. Enjoy, and happy reading!

Chapter One: The Horror Movie Marathon

It was the kind of night to stay inside, and watch movies.

But, of course, not just any kind of movies:

Horror movies.

"You'll like them." Ryan Evans told the small blonde that was sitting on the couch, huddled in a blanket.

"Will not." the girl replied, and Ryan smiled as he started a movie, and he got up to join her on the couch.

"But, it's a musical. There'll be singing." Ryan stated, showing her the box, and Haylie Anderson frowned.

"So? He murders people!" she responded, and Ryan shook his head.

"I promise that when the movie comes to a scene where he murders someone, you can shield your eyes." Ryan explained, and Haylie shook her head.

Of course, she found the singing to be sort of fun (she didn't even know that Johnny Depp could even sing!), and that one guy she found sort of cute (she wouldn't tell Ryan that, of course!).

But, when he started to slaughter people, Haylie covered her eyes.

She thought it was over when Ryan told her, "Okay, Haylie. You can open your eyes now."

Her eyes widen when she realized he wasn't done: and she screamed while Ryan laughed.

His laughter died down when he realized that she was shaking under the blanket, and he frowned.

"Haylie, calm down...it's okay."

The only reply he got was a wimper, and he sighed, pausing the movie.

"It's not real, Haylie. It's just a movie." Ryan told her, and Haylie threw the blanket aside.

"Right! Now I'll be having nightmares for the rest of my life about scary barbers! I'll probably never have my hair cut again!" Haylie explained, and Ryan chuckled.

"You will not. How about a change in movies?" Ryan asked, and he got off the couch, and went to the movie chest.

"Okay...let's see what we have..."

Well, the only things he could see was Disney movies and some musicals (hey: Ryan liked movies too!), so he pulled out a Disney movie.

"Sleeping Beauty. Let's watch this one instead." he stated, and Haylie smirked.

"Really? You rather watch Aurora fall asleep rather than see some guy murder an innocent person?" Haylie asked, pretending to be amazed, and Ryan smiled as he sat back down, and kissed her on the cheek.

"Yeah. Besides, I didn't like the singing. Johnny Depp is kind of horrible."

Haylie laughed as Sleeping Beauty flickered on the screen, and she sighed.

Tonight, she will not have any nightmares, thanks to Ryan.
