Do you pretend to have forgotten forever? Or do you hide away from fear alone?

Author's Note: This is a song that I wrote for a contest on Deviantart and I am rather proud of it. ^^ As the summary explained, this was based on one of my favorite books, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Lewis Stevenson.
This song is from Hyde's point of view right before Jekyll ends up killing himself at the end of the novel. I always thought that Hyde was an interesting character and his relationship with Jekyll was incredible. It is the relationship of a mother and her child, as well as a bond that one would have with one's self. I can imagine Hyde taunting Jekyll relentlessly and I can see him singing this to the poor doctor in a whisper kind of singing that is disturbingly scary.
