This fan-fiction takes place right after the events of Batman: Under The Red Hood.

Jason (Jason Todd, not Grace) never meant for his life to get so screwed up. He always thought he'd fight for the right cause, and being Robin had only hardened that idea. But as he ran from the exploded apartment, he began to question what he was fighting for.

"I'm fighting to destroy crime," he muttered.

Deep down, he knew killing crime bosses wasn't the way. But, what was? If he did what Bruce did, the villains would just break out again. No, that didn't work.

"Help! Someone help me!" he heard from somewhere nearby.

He pulled his Colt 45 out of his holster and thought, "I guess we're going to keep killing…"

He jumped off the rooftop he was standing and moved to where the screams were coming from.

When he arrived, he saw immediately that this wasn't a normal, for two reasons. One: No-one in Gotham carried golden knives as self-defense weapons. Two: As far as he knew, there were no four-headed dragons in Gotham. He breathed in. This was the most f**ked up crime he had ever had to stop, even while he was Robin. He flipped off the building and shot the thing in the head. It reared back in pain.

"What the hell is that four-headed thing?" he screamed at the couple on the ground.

"You can see it?" the girl one asked.

The monster spewed fire. Jason dodged the flames and shot it in the head. Not even a trace. Damn, that thing was resistant.

"Corse' I can see it! How do I kill it, though?" Jason asked.

The girl took a knife out of her injured boyfriends pocket and tossed it to him.

"What the hell am I supposed to do with this?" Jason shouted.

"I don't know, stab the hydra with it, maybe?" the girl said sarcastically.

What the hell was a hydra and why couldn't he kill it with his pistols? He didn't know the answers to those questions, so he decided to follow the kid's advice and picked up the knife. He charged and jumped onto the creature's head. He stabbed the creature in the back of his head and decapitated the beast. The head fell off, but was quickly replaced by two others.

"What the…." Jason said, shocked.

"Stab it in the heart, Jason!" the girl yelled.

"How do you know my… NEVER MIND!" Jason yelled.

He front flipped off the monster's neck and landed right in front of the beast. He chucked the knife right were he thought the heart was. Thankfully he was right.

The knife sank through the monsters skin. The beast evaporated into sand. That was the weirdest thing he had ever experienced in his whole crime-fighting career.

"Okay. What is a hydra? How do you know my name? Why didn't my bullets kill that thing when your knife did? Why did you have a knife in the first place and who are you two?" Jason screamed.

"Jason, you ask a lot of questions. That's normal. I'll try to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability. You're a demi-god. A half god."

"You gotta be f# king kidding me." Jason said, laughing.
