So this is love

Harry/Ginny

Harry's mind was reeling. Voldemort was dead, the wizarding world was saved, but him and Ginny were apart.

Why did he have to let her go before going off to hunt horcruxes?

To protect her of course you idiot!

But still.

Would she ever forgive him? He sincerely hoped she would. He loved her. My god. HE LOVED HER! Harry Potter loved Ginny Weasley.

Ginny Potter. He rolled the name around a bit. He liked it. It sounded right. Like it was meant to be.

Well that's settled then. The only problems now were…

Harry could think of a lot of problems, but none of them mattered that much. He loved her and that was all that mattered. But he still went over the problems in his head.

would he go out to get a ring?

would he tell Ron and Hermione?

would he ask Ginny?

4.When would he ask Ginny?

And the most terrifying problem of all…

would he tell the Weasleys?

Despite all of the terrifying problems, Harry was content. All he could think of was "So this is love"

Lily/James

Tonight was the night.

James Potter had loved Lily Potter since the fourth year, and she finally loved him back.

He knew that she would love the ring. A princess cut, white diamond, set in white gold surrounded by tiny green emeralds that were almost as beautiful as her eyes.

Now if she could only say yes, he knew that tonight would be the best night of his life.

Uhg. Still 20 minutes until he went to pick her up.

He thought back to when he had first realized he loved her.

He had been sitting on his bed in The Hogwarts dormitory thinking about her, when Sirius bounded in.

"You love her don't you?" he asked.

"No… I just like her… a lot" James had responded.

"Enough to be drooling over?"

"I'm not drooling!" James said while checking to make sure he wasn't.

"You love her"

"Do not"

"Whatever you say"

That night James had a dream about Lily and him, sitting on their front porch, her wedding ring glistening in the sun, watching their children play.

He remembered waking up and almost shouting "I love Evans!"

Sirius rolled over in bed and said "Its about time you realized it, now go to sleep, the full moon's tomorrow."

James smiled as he apparated to Lily's house.

Tonight was the night and nothing could stop him.

Remus/Tonks

Oh my god.

He couldn't believe himself. She was perfect, any mans perfect dream, and she was all his.

She didn't care that he was 13 years older, that he was a werewolf or that he was extremely poor. She didn't care.

He looked at her ring again. It sat on her left hand ring finger, an image of perfection. It wasn't even a normal wedding ring, but it was definitely Tonks.

Her ring had a purple diamond sitting in the middle of a white gold band with small white diamonds on the sides. It had cost him every last penny, but it was worth it. She was worth it.

When she remarked about how her ring was reversed, how the white diamond usually goes in the middle surrounded by the colors, he was worried that she didn't like it, but she did. She said it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen next to Remus.

The wedding date was set, it was in a month. Remus was worried beyond belief and, not for the first time, he wished he had Sirius, James and Lily there with him, to support him. He knew that they would be there in spirit, but it would be nice to see them.

He shook those thoughts out of his head.

You are only allowed to think about one thing and that's her, understood?

Yes, gladly.

Because it had happened, against all the odds, Remus was in love and was getting married.

"This is what love is like" he thought.

This is what love is like.
