Author's Notes : I wrote this poem in one of my college classes. It's about me meeting the God of Death, Ryuk. Originally, this poem didn't have a title but as a matter of fact I decided, tonight, that I'd call it 'Shadow'. For it says it all. :) Plus ! This is my first fanfiction on here ! :D Cheers ! Shadow
There was a shadow
On a roof top
It looked at me
as I was passing by
I didn't think that in
the darkness of the night I'd see it
But I did
And it was dark, it was big
it was monstruous and villain !
Could I tell you more ?
I tried to start walking
'Cause I had stopped because of my sudden fear
Mixed with curiosity
And the fact that I wanted to get away from this thing
Pushed my feet harder and faster to the front
I thought I couldn't see the sun nevermore
Going faster and faster
I couldn't feel it anymore
Then I stopped
Feet away from the border of the day
I turned to cross the road and lift a foot
I turned to face the day
Everything in the air stopped
Then it descended upon me.
