Another story in the works! Any aforementioned cartoons I do not own, all rights go to their owners. I only own ocs.

Chapter 1: Toons created by Toons?

Where do Toons go after their shows have ended? Well, somewhere, out there, with magic so strong only Toons can enter it, is a prospering land called the United Toonlands, where Toons all around can settle in and start anew, unless they are called back to work.

Young Toon children go about their daily lives, one of them being Lucie, a gray cat with darker gray stripes, her hair tied into a ponytail, donning a light pink shirt and darker pink skirt. Alongside her was her pal, Lola. Lola was a lavender-colored dragonling with pink scales and wings.

Both Lucie and Lola had been through the thin and thick together, and even when they had a disagreement, they would always reconcile.

But there was a unique origin between the two pals, a certain event that led them to become best friends in the first place. A rare event that Toons had yet to comprehend. An event that had only happened a couple times, an event that no Toon can expect.

It could only be described by one word. A word that can only be found in the Toon dictionary.

Figmentation.

Ever since that event, Lucie had become fascinated by figmentation. How did it happen? Why did it happen? And how come only Toons can do it?

You see, figmentation is the creation of Figments. Or, Toons created by other Toons.

You heard me. Most Toons are created by Humans, and it was long thought that Toons did not hold the capacity to create one of their own. But somehow, it happened. A group of Toons could be drawing a made-up character and the next morning, that said character is brought to life. And no Toon even knows what a Figment's true element is. When Toons are manifested, that is because of a certain element their Creators bear, mostly love. It has been theorized a Figment's element is the same thing, but some think otherwise.

And Lucie was intent on finding out the Mystery of Figmentation.

"Alright Lola, I have everything I need for my research."Lucie said to her dragon friend in their room.

"Geez, Luce, I don't see what the big deal is. Toon is drawn, Toon is created. End of story." The dragon said, uninterested.

"Then how are only certain Toons able to create Figments? Scientists have tried creating their own Toons, only to end with failure. There has to be some magic to it. It took a while, but I've managed to find some Toons who had created Figments and got them to tell their stories. Now all I need to do is read them and see if there's a connection of some sort." Lucie said as she sat on her bed and went through her notebook.

"Dude, even the smartest nerds couldn't figure out the secret of Figmentation, and you're a kid. I'm a kid. How can we solve this secret?"

"I know this is difficult, Lola, but you'll have to trust me. Don't you want to discover one of the biggest secrets of all times? Don't you want to know how it bonded us together?"

Lola stared at Lucie in content. The two Toons stared at each other for a minute in silent tension. Finally Lola sat next to Lucie and looked at the notebook.

"Ok…so where do we start?" Lola asked.

"Well, here's one about a bear with a split personality." Lucie said.

"Read away." Lola said.

"Ok. So, 'The idea of a Tree Friend with a double personality was always thought of, but never used. Until one day…'."

Yup, Lucie and Lola from my first fanfic are back, and are now delving deep into the past of some Toons you probably know.

Hopefully I can pull through this. Also, look out for some new chapter of 'Interviews' and 'Writing On the Wall'. R&R!
