Nothing Left,
A poem about Johnny Depp's Sweeney Todd
By CaptainFlyingSparrow
He stands looking out the window,
Staring at the streets below,
Thinking about the past,
And only the past.
He wants to let a tear out,
But it will not flow,
Because he has nothing left in his heart,
Because it's on the floor.
At the feet of the man,
That tore his life apart,
The man that steps on the pieces of his heart,
Until there is nothing but dust.
He stands looking out the window,
Thinking about the past,
Thinking about how it could have been,
If his wife and daughter weren't taken away.
If it wasn't for the man,
Convicting him of false charges,
And sending him away,
He would be standing where he's standing,
But not looking out the window,
But watching his wife,
And his daughter,
As they played and sang.
Instead, he stands at the window,
Staring at the streets below,
Thinking about the past.
He will have his revenge,
On the man who ruined his life,
Killed his wife,
And took his daughter.
He looks down at his trusty razor,
Then looking over at his barber chair,
Then back to the window,
Staring at the streets below.
Daydreaming about what it could have been,
If he was still Bingaman Barker,
Instead of Sweeney Todd
Sorry if it came out really scrunched together. I keep having trouble with the edit/preview thing.
Well I hope you liked it please review and tell me what you think!
