Prologue
"Wanna play the game tonight?" the first girl leaned into her group.
"Totally, we should get the gawkers to play too. Since they're all "together" now, they might want to bond." The boy rolled his eyes.
"So am I telling Luca we need more watches?" the second girl brushed platinum blonde hair over her shoulder.
"We'll see, we should go to the institute first and see how many wanna play with us." The first girl shrugged, a long black braid fell elegantly down her back.
"Pietro said he and the boys would play, he wasn't sure if Wanda wanted to or not since it's called 'Kill me Kiss me'. But I'm sure we can get some of the geek squad to play." The boy snorted.
"I call dibs on Freddy as my partner." The blonde turned and waved to Fred at the Brotherhood table.
"Whatever Johanna, so long as you're kissing him." The other girl shook her head.
"Aren't you and Todd going to play together, Max?" Johanna giggled as she saw the boys were teasing them and Fred blushed.
"Yeah, of course we are, so who's moderating?" Todd came over to put his arms around the other girl's shoulders.
"Mama Maximoff, she's trying to recruit her brother and the Professor so we can play throughout the town tonight." Johanna raised her eyebrow.
---At the X-table---
"How can she stand to be that close to him?" Scott watched the couple in disgust.
"According to Vincent, she was adopted by potheads and can't smell anything anymore." Rahne replied.
"Seriously, I didn't know that did that to you." Kitty looked surprised.
"I wonder what they're talking about." Kurt sat back.
"Jean, you guys wanna play 'Kill me Kiss me' tonight?" Jean heard a voice.
"Max, what are you doing?"
"Asking a question in a way that my beau doesn't have to move, now are you guys in or can I tell Luca we don't need any more equipment?"
"They wanna know if we want to play a game with them and Mystique's boys tonight. Are we in or not?" Jean looked around.
"What kind of game?" Kitty asked, Kurt leaned forward with interest.
"It's called 'Kill me Kiss me', I've never heard of it. We should ask them about it." Jean shrugged.
"Ask first." Scott looked as Todd was sitting in Max's seat with the witch on his lap, "That's just indecent, no one wants to see them all over each other in public.
"Shove it up your ass Summers!!" was the violent reply the whole group heard, but across the cafeteria the couple were still conversing sweetly.
"How does the game work Max?" Jean interrupted.
"It's a pairs game, one person is a captive and the other is the fighter. The moderators place the captives in different locations and the watches are set so that if their partner is captured by someone else they have thirty minutes to rescue them before they "die". It's simple really we've been playing in Bayville for awhile. It's a fun way to train." Max replied so everyone could hear.
"Sounds like fun, I'm in." Kurt gave the group a thumbs up so they'd know.
"Me too, sounds cool, besides it sounds better than the danger room all the time." Kitty agreed.
"We're all meeting at the Institute at seven-thirty. That'll give us time to set up before it gets dark. Since tomorrow's Saturday we can play all night if we want."
