Jenna stole Clare's boyfriend, tried to steal her friends, and stole her happiness… but what was the true reason… was it jealousy or something more? ONEXSHOT.
"You're a back stabbing conniving, little bitch" Clare Edwards screamed at Jenna Middleton. "You stole my boyfriend. No we can never be friends again." and she walked away leaving Jenna standing there.
She felt horrible, like someone had just punch her in the gut. She knew Clare was right. But still having the sweet face of Clare so angry so hurt, because of her.. Made Jenna feel worse. She didn't love KC, true he was one of the most Goodling and nice she had ever met, still she couldn't bring herself to say she loved him. Clare loved him, and deserved him. Why did she want everything Clare had? Why did she want to be Clare Edwards? She fought back tears as she went to power squad practice.
"I don't know anymore Trish" she said as she hung back after practice.
"What?"
"It's like I want everything Clare has. Her friends, her boyfriend her life, why?"
"I know why." Trish said bluntly
"Why?"
"Because your in love with her"
"What?" the phrase surprised Jenna
"Jenna, she is all you talk about, think about. Even when your dissing her your eyes say I love her."
"Trish I'm not gay. Hello I'm with KC." she said
"Come on," Trish said "think about it, You want to be her because you want to be with her." Trish said bluntly as she left Jenna standing there.
As Jenna walked home and thought about what thinking about Clare. She thought about her baby blue eyes, she thought about her long brown hair that always smelled of sweet strawberries. She thought about how she always bit her lip when she was concentrating or bit her left thumb when she was nervous. She thought about the day she met Clare. And how something inside her changed. she thought.. No she realized that Trish was right. The reason she wanted everything Clare had was because she was completely and totally in love with her. She wanted her happiness, because she could be happy without her. She wanted KC, Dave, Alli, and Connor, because they made her happy where Jenna knew she never will. Jenna smiled a bitter sweet smile. Jenna smiled because she always knew she would fall in love for real someday, she never thought it would be so wrong and hurt so bad.
