To Serve Man
The car stalled, plunging them into darkness. Jody swore, hitting the steering wheel in frustration when it refused to start.
"Don't worry, I'm good with engines," said Donna. She sighed when her flashlight flickered and died. "I'm sure someone will be along soon who can help."
The car was enveloped in a harsh, blinding light. The sheriffs stared up in disbelief at the UFO hovering directly overhead.
A tall, stocky figure approached. "Be not afraid! We come in peace, to serve man..."
Its head exploded from dual shotgun blasts.
"As if anyone's not seen that Twilight Zone episode," laughed Jody.
