Clare,s POV

Me and Alli were fighting over my glasses tugging back and forth until

Alli let go.

CRUNCH!

Then a boy all dressed in black walked out of the hearse that ran over my glasses." I think they're dead. '' he said with a smirk. I couldn't help but blush

" It's okay I got... laser surgery " I say then he says "You have pretty eyes "

I blush even more and say '' I'll .. uh see you round " "Guess you will ". I walk by a trash can and threw away the glasses that were almost completely smooshed.

Eli's POV

Wow my first day and i already made a girl blush, why'll i broke her glasses at the same time, and now i can't get her out of my mind and I don't even know

her name, her eyes were like saphires and I haven't seen eyes that pretty in none of my girlfriends in all three I had. I knew even if I brought on the Eli charm she would never fall for me look at us shes smart, funny, and I'm wearing all black, but I had to try to get to know her i was determined to know

her.

Clare's POV

I walk to English class and sit in the last seat that was not taken behind the boy that ran over my glasses, we get the assighnment back I look at the big red C that was on my paper and say " there has to be a mistake I've never gotten a C how did this happen" "The earlier assighnments were divine but lately your work is a little boring" she says "I used constructive writing skills and advanced vocabulary " I say " You can't hide behind vampire fiction your

whole life" she says " I'm not hiding" I say " Then prove it.. too your writing

partner" she points to the guy infront of me "Me" he says "Yes, your stories have become a little wordy, Eli and Clare will be edditing eachothers work this semester" she says "Great..that'll be fun" i didnt sound so enthusiastic when i said that "I think we have a very special partnership on our hands here like Tedd Hugh's and Silvia Path" she said i come back with "Silvia Path killed herself" Eli smirked when i said that.

Eli's POV

Clare. That's a pretty name I like it espeacially if it's her name, at the end of the day I go home to see Clare online I start a coversation

Eli-Gold52:hey

Clare-Edwards:hey

Clare_Edwards: parents are fighting

Eli-Gold52: sorry :(

Eli-Gold52: well im gonna go 2 sleep see ya tomarow hope things get better

Clare's POV

I go to sleep crying hoping tomarrow would be better at least I get to see Eli

WAIT what am I thinking! I don't even know let alone like him well maybe I do

but I can't have someone break my heart again like K.C. so even if I did like him I can't date him cause he dosen't like me, but maybe if we got to know each other I might like him we'll have to see tomarrow.

A/N well i hate to keep u guys waiting in the next chapter its been 2 years since claire and eli have been dating and things get pretty steamy if u know wat i mean R&R!
