Sunao woke up just like any other day, wiping sleep from his eye as he looked longingly across the room to the sleeping Sora. They had only been together for a week or two, and he didn't feel comfortable being intimate with him yet, especially since Matsuri could slink around the corner at any moment with his camera. He sighed, noticing that it was only 7-- time enough to take a shower. He walked to the bathroom, slowly locking the door behind him and removing his clothes, staring at the scars along his arms and chest. He sighed, telling himself that he was going to forget, if it took years. He shed the rest of his clothes, stepping into the warm shower.
"I wonder if I'll ever get over this dumb fear." He asked himself, careful to not get too much water on his face. "It's starting to affect everyone else since the Peiron club leaked it out. But..." He started to think to himself, looking over his body as he scrubbed shampoo into his scalp. He could see some of his ribs, and the indent where his ribcage ended. He had lost wieght since he moved in as Hashiba's roommate, but it wasn't too much-- was it? "He said he likes that I'm thin, though..." He blushed a little at the thought, and covered himself from no one. Nao then stepped out, shivering as he reached for his uniform. Tell me I didn't forget it in the room...! He thought to himself, before realizing he had, in fact, left the white uniform on the bed.
Stepping into the room, his long rose hair still wet from the shower, and a meager towel covering him, he reached for the uniform on his bed. However, as he started to get dressed, he heard his blue-haired beauty stir. Scared, he pulled the white shirt over his chest and lower areas, his coral eyes showing a mix of frustration and embarrasment. "Nao-kun...?" Sora said lethargically, his blue eyes squinted from a yawn. "... Mmm..." He rolled over, hugging his Toshizou tightly.
It was almost time for school, and he knew that Matsuri would run in soon, gathering his childhood friends to go to first hour together. Nao started to panic, getting dressed and wiping invisible dust off his uniform. "Hashiba, it's time to get ready." He tossed the towel in the laundary basket, and took out a hairdryer to dry his long pink hair. "I'm not going to be late to Nii-san's class again for you!" He told the still sleeping Sora as he took handfuls of hair and dried them, brushing his hair and teeth soon after, and tying his hair back with the red ribbon laying across the bathroom counter.
Sora woke up, yawning and grabbing his uniform that had plastered itself to his bedpost. "Mm. Thanks, I guess." He opened the door to the bathroom, finding his lover washing his face. He saw this as the perfect chance to tease Nao, instead of the other way around. "So are you going to leave, or are you going to take a shower with me, Nao-kun?" Nao felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up at this thought-- he still wasn't ready for that yet. He scuttled out of the room with a small towel, drying his face off. He noticed Matsuri standing in the room, after his eyes adjusted from the flash. "...You know, barging into people's rooms and taking pictures is kind of rude."
"I know." Matsuri smiled, taking one more picture. "And as for why I'm here... We've gotten another request for the Jack-of-All-Trades shop." Sunao inwardly cringed. He didn't want to have to be skipping off to do these jobs anymore-- and as of late, they had been getting more and more bizarre. "Can't it wait? Nii-san'll ki-" He was cut off by Sora walking out, drying his hair. "If we miss first hour again, I'm not sure what Nii-san will do." He said, taking Matsuri's camera when he wasn't looking. "You'll get this back if we can do it later." Matsuri looked defeated, and gave into a weak nod, snatching back his camera. "Fine, but you're getting cuts from your pay!" He exclaimed, pouting. "Let's just get to class."
At the end of first hour, Sunao stopped by Nanami's room before he could say goodbye to Sora or Matsuri. "... Eh? What's the matter, Nao-kun?" Nanami asked, turning in his swivel chair to look at the boy, the delicate smile he usually held on his face still there. "I've felt sick since last night... I don't know if I have a fever or not, but I feel like I'm going to throw up." Nanami lost the smile, fetching a thermometer and cover and placing it under his tongue. "You have a fever... maybe you should go to your dorm and rest." Nao nodded, and stood up shakily. "I could escort you to the dorms." Sunao shook his head, starting forward, only to trip. "No, it's fine." Nanami hooked one arm with his and opened the door.
On the way to the dorms, Nanami started to notice how thin Sunao had become. He silently worried, especially since Nao had become more reserved. Maybe it's because Sora and him have finally gotten together... He's just shy about it around the other people. "Well, we're here... which room is yours, again? I haven't been here for a while..." Besides, the doors looked the same. "This one." Nao stated, pointing to the plain-looking, blue-framed door. "Thanks, Nanami-chan..." He smiled softly, walking wobbily to his bed. "Get better soon, Nao-kun...!" He smiled, turning away. He just hoped that Nao-kun had a stomache ache and a fever, nothing more serious.
"Where's Nao-kun? I've got a job for him..." Matsuri spoke out, sighing. "You said you'd both help me with this job." Sora sighed in this response. "Come to think of it though, I haven't see Sunao since first hour." He opened the door to his dorm, seeing Nao asleep in bed with a troubled expression on his face. "Kuu-chan...!" He flailed around a little bit in the bed, making whining noises between his cries.
"Nao!" Sora dove to his side, feeling his forehead. He had a bad fever, and his nightmare wasn't helping. "Nao, wake up...!" He shook him a little, until wide pink eyes snapped open, tears welled up under his eyes. "... Kuu-chan..." He embraced Sunao, kissing the top of his head. He hated it when he had nightmares like this-- and now that he understood them, they made him feel horribly guilty, though he knew it was Aizawa's fault.
"I'll do the work myself." Matsuri said, edging away from the couple. He would love some help, but he didn't want to disturb Nao by taking Sora. He looked at the request form, and sighed. "I don't know what Kai's so urgent about with this. All we have to do is deliver some art supplies to the art club... He's not even in the art club." He shrugged it off, and went to deliver the loads to the classroom.
Sora had gotten Nao to calm down and take some medicine for his fever by the time Matsuri had finished the job, and he had decided to go to sleep, himself. He didn't want to leave the room since he had found his lover, in case he had another nightmare. He changed Nao's clothes himself, and began to change himself. He'd grabbed Toshizou, before looking to the silent pink-haired other. "... He needs Toshizou mre than I do." He nodded, and tucked the pink elephant under his arm. "Sleep good, Nao-kun..." He kissed his forehead hesitantly and quickly, tucking him in. After giving a sleep aide to his lover, he laid in his own bed, his head on the pillow.
Sora woke up to Nao on top of him, his lips practically touching Sora's. "Yoru?" He asked, his lips quivering slightly. "What have you done to Yoru?" He had a look of frustration in his ruby eyes, as well as a hint of sadness. "Sorry Ran, he's not coming back..." Sora responded, slightly disturbed. Sunao had said that he would try to get rid of Ran, like how he'd banished Yoru. "...Well then, Sunao's not coming back." Ran spoke with malice in his voice, his wide eyes glaring back at Sora.
The blue-haired male underneath Ran didn't know what to say in response. "I don't know how to get him back." He said weakly, though it was the truth. However, he knew what he felt like, because if he lost Sunao... He didn't like the thought of that, so he shook his head to get it out of his mind. "Please let Nao-kun come back. I'd let you have Yoru if he hadn't left." In a weird way, he felt like he still needed Yoru, but he had told both himself and Sunao that he would be strong, and he didn't need Yoru.
"Liar! You know where he is, you killed him!" Ran pounded on Sora's chest with balled up fists, but he was still as thin as Sunao, so they didn't come to much harm to him. "I didn't kill him." He hoped he hadn't, that somewhere in his subconscience, Yoru was still dwelling. He needed Yoru again, for Nao's sake and his own. Without Yoru, Nao wouldn't be coming back. Without Yoru, he'd be alone.
