Hermione walked into the common room to the sight of The Post-Marauders watering a plant. Hermione approached them and said "Good to see that you've placed some importance on getting a good mark in Herbology," approvingly. "Yes," replied Adam, "It's an extra credit project for Herbology. It was Thomas's idea, he's the one that is interested in getting good marks,"
"What are you growing then?" Hermione inquired.
"Oh, nothing much. Just a few weeds," Alice said modestly.
"Weeds as in wild flowers, or weeds as in Hobbits enjoy them very much,"
"And Hobbits are?"
"They're these short creatures with hairy feet that are very prominent in Muggle literature. They enjoy something called 'pipe weed'," Thomas informed her, always mindful of muggle ways.
"Then, yes, weeds as in something enjoyed by hobbits,"
"I don't think that will count as an extra credit project for herbology," Hermione said with disdain.
"But it does posess somewhat magical properties,"
"I hope you aren't seriously thinking of turning in," Hermione said, then sighed, and turned on her heel, and left.
Sure enough, the Post-Marauders did turn their marijuana, along with hallunicogenic mushrooms, to Professor Sprout as a group work extra-credit project. The 'extra-credit work' was swiftly confiscated and ten house points each was deducted from their respective houses.
The Post-Marauders are a group of students formed at Hogwarts by four troublesome first years who had heard about the Mauraders and had inexplainably gotten hold of the Marauder's Map. The Post Marauders make as much, if not more, trouble at Hogwarts as the Marauders themselves did. The Post-Marauders include Alice Hippolyta, Gryffindor, Adam Feste, Gryffindor, Thomas Laertes, Ravenclaw, and Bardolph Lavina, Gryffindor.
