Tap Tap Tap
A young woman walking her girl to school heard that all too familiar sound. Pulling her daughter, she had them cross the street. "Where are we going mama? School's that way." the girl looked up at her mother in confusion. The woman put a finger up to her lips. The girl looked to the other side of the street. When she saw a dark figure, she knew why they had crossed. The dark figure was a man in a expensive suit, with a long black cane that had gold trimming on the top. He was very feared here in Storybrooke. "Mama, what's he doing?" the girl tried to hide in her mother's coat. They both watched the mysterious man walk into the library as he closed the the door very gently. "I'm not sure." she said hugging her daughter tightly. "H-How about you go to school, and I'll find out" she grabbed the girls hand and they crossed the street once again. The little girl had never walked to school alone before. "Mama, I'm scared." she said. School wasn't very far away but she was always nervous that someone would kidnap her. "It's alright, there's no scary monster and you'll get to see Ms. Blanchard right on the other side." the mother gave her a little push. Taking a deep breath the girl started walking towards the school. "Bye Hannah." her mother called. Hannah turned around "Bye mama." she blew her mom a kiss. The woman caught it and put it to her beating heart. As the girl walked away, she quietly entered the library. Looking around, the woman cautiously walked farther in.
"Fancy seeing you here."
The lady jumped at the voice and spun around. There, right behind the door stood Mr. Gold. He was smirking.
Rolling her eyes, she sighed "would you stop doing that?" His smirk widened. "No, unless you want to make a deal on it." This man and his deals. She thought. "So, what brings you here?" he asked. She eyed him. "I was seeing what you were up to." "Quinn.." he started. "shh! don't speak my real name! Do you have a death wish? The queen will kill you if you wake anyone else!" He shook his head and rolled his eyes "I made her the queen she is now. I am her master. She can't harm me, no matter how much she would like to." "Fiera Quinn!" he called out proving his point. Fiera went to slap him for calling out her true name, but he caught her arm. "No, Dearie. No touchy." he threw her hand down. "unless.." he looked at her suggestively. Pure disgust was written on her face "never." she said. "Never say never dearie." he repeated the distasteful name that he would say to everyone. "Would you stop calling me that?" she snapped. "What?" he said feigning innocence. "Stop calling me Dearie." she spat. "Why? It's my mark. Everyone has one.. Dearie." he mocked her. She felt anger burn through every inch of her skin. "It has no meaning." Fiera said quietly. He smiled. "I know. Why do you care?" He then laughed "are you telling me you care? That's a first." Her cheeks burned hot. "No." she gritted her teeth together. "I just see no point in using the name." He walked over to her. "Ms. Quinn, You know I know what happened. Don't think I've forgotten." Closing her eyes, she tried to forget the memory. "I'll make you a deal." she said "Make me forget what happened, and I won't tell the queen your waking people up." Mr. Gold shook his head. "No deal. I want you to remember. Every second." "Why?" she asked.
"Because. You know why." he said simply, brushing her brown locks behind her ear. He walked away, leaving her in the empty library by herself.
