"Will you hurry up all ready!" InuYasha yelled to Kagome who was taking a bath. "I'm almost done just wait a little while longer after that last battle I feel disgusting!" Kagome yelled back, her patience was growing thin considering he had been asking her that about every two seconds since she got in 5 minutes ago. 'I guess I could give her a little time. That last battle I almost thought I'd lost her.' InuYasha thought to himself.

Flashback

"I can smell him. He's not far off" InuYasha said to Miroku while they were running towards Naraku's Barrier.

"Will you guys slow down. You can't defeat him without us too you know!" Sango yelled ahead to InuYasha and Miroku. Kagome and Sango were riding on Kirara.

"Kagome, I don't mean to be rude asking you this but why aren't you with InuYasha?" Sango asked, a somewhat worried look across her face, she knew what the answer was but she just had to ask.

"Oh Please, you don't expect me to go with him anywhere after him and Kikyo were getting so comfortable with eachother yesterday!" Kagome had anger in her face and hate in her eyes.

'I wouldn't want to be Naraku right now with Kagome this upset I don't think he could even win against her!' Sango thought.

InuYasha could hear the whole conversation. A sad look played across his face and his ears went low. 'If only she knew' InuYasha thought.

Miroku felt the sudden change in InuYasha's mood. He looked over and almost began to chuckle. "So she cuaght you agian, InuYasha?" Miroku said with his usual smirk of pervertedness on his face(is that even a word...well it is now!)

"Feh, I don't know what you always think but..."InuYasha was cut off by Miroku.

"You know I don't blame her at all for being mad at you, she clearly has strong feelings for you and yet every time Kikyo comes near you leave her. I don't know if I could ever be as stong as her to forgive you each time." Miroku said with a sadened look on his face as he glanced back at the still angry Kagome. "Do you even apologize? I don't think you ever have. This time I would she still looks..."

"Miroku will you shut up already! I don't see you apologizing to Sango everytime your hand grabs another girl!"

"It's my hand it can't help itself!" Miroku said laughing and trying to cover up the fact that InuYasha was right for once.

"Oh the hand! I don't think your hand is the one that asks them to bear your children!" InuYasha yelled loud enough for everyone to hear.

"InuYasha, don't turn this against me!" Miroku yelled so that Sango and Kagome would forget what InuYasha had just said.

'Lecher' Sango thought while shooting death Glares at Miroku. Kagome did the same only to InuYasha while thinking ' Two- timing with a dead girl!'

InuYasha stopped. "We're hear"

Everyone prepared themselves as InuYasha broke through the barrier.

"Well I figured you would arrive soon InuYasha" Naraku said with a bone chilling laugh.

"Naraku why don't you come out and fight instead of hiding."InuYasha said. 'I can sence he is here but I can't smell him, I could outside the barrier but I can't find him in here.' "Kagome do you sense the jewel shards anywhere?"

Kagome pretended not to hear him. ' This is the worst time for them to be fighting' Miroku thought, "Kagome, do you sense the Jewel shards anywhere?" Miroku asked.

"O umm..." Kagome said while looking around. "Yeah, MIROKU, they are over there." Kagome said pointing towards a Miasma filled pond.

"What the...he's in there?" InuYasha asked with confusion."WIND SCAR"

With that InuYasha hit the weird pool and from it Naraku himself apeared.

' so that's why I couldn't smell him he was hiding inside the pool. That means Kagura was probablly outside. That means Naraku knows me and Kagome are fighting.' InuYasha thought and took a gulp.

"InuYasha, is that fear in your eyes? or are you sad that mortal girl won't talk to you?" Naraku said as he pointed towards Kagome."Let's see who she calls out for if she isn't talking to you InuYasha." With that Naraku shot out his weird branch arm things at Kagome. Kagome was so pissed at InuYasha and at what Naraku had just said she took out her bow and to everyone's suprise stopped the attack.

"RRR InuYasha, you weren't going to save me!" Kagome yelled. " I can't believe this you want me dead. Is it cuase you can only love dead girls!"

InuYasha stood there in disbelief 'Why didn't I save her. She could have been killed!' InuYasha spoke "Ka-gome I-I I'm sorry. I didn't know that ...I didn't know what to do. I was too scared I was going to lose you that I froze." InuYasha had pain in his eyes.

"I don't care. I could have died!" Kagome yelled back. She wanted to cry. She didn't believe what InuYasha said. She thought he wanted her to die.

"Touching really. I love watching people suffer. I didn't even have to work to do it you did it all by yourself. You pathetic half-breed." Naraku yelled sending another blow in InuYasha's direction.

Once again InuYasha did'nt move. It was like he had been frozen except for his head. "INUYASHA SIT!" Kagome screamed with tears in her eyes. InuYasha was knocked to the ground and the attack went over him. With the sit command InuYasha was free from his position on the ground.

"So you escaped my Miasma. Well until another time InuYasha."Naraku said.

"You won't escape this time. WINDSCAR!" InuYasha yelled but it was too late Naraku was gone. "Damn!"

"InuYasha...you- you were para-lized" Kagome stuttered feeling bad for thinking he wanted her dead.

"Of course IDIOT! Like I really wanted you to die!" InuYasha screamed in her face.

"Oh InuYasha, I'm sorry. will you ever forgive me for thinking that way?" Kagome cried as she threw her arms around InuYasha.

Miroku and Sango sat in disbelif. "Once agian Kagome forgives InuYasha." Sango said to Miroku. "Well actually InuYasha forgave Kagome. I don't know how he does it." Miroku replied making his hand home on Sango's backside.

"HENTAI!"

InuYasha grew tired of waiting and sat on Kagome's bed with his arms crossed inside his Kimono, legs crossed and began to fall asleep.
