A/N: Just a little something for Mimato fans ^_^
Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon (unfortunately).
Toilet Paper
Parents are not ATM's.
Mimi groaned as her mother's words rang in her ears. Well of course she didn't consider them as ATM's. She knew better than that. She also knew that lately she had been shopping more than ever. Every time she crossed a display window, her urge to buy everything on display nagged her more than ever. Just last week she had bought a stroller. Yes, a stroller! She was 19 years old she didn't need a freaking stroller. But she bought it anyway.
"Meems, is that a stroller?" Sora asked her best friend in an unsure voice.
Mimi's muffled reply was unheard as Sora looked around to see the girl's room was strewn with useless things. Sora felt that this was kind of her fault. She had been spending so much time with Taichi lately that she hadn't even bothered to ask her best friend if she was okay. Sora accidently stepped on a bundle of toilet paper rolls as she joined Mimi on the bed.
"Uh, is there something you wanna tell me, Meems?" She asked sweetly.
Mimi finally removed the giant pink pillow from her face and glared at Sora, "Oh are you sure you have the time to listen?"
Sora cringed at the sarcasm in her voice and laughed nervously, "I keep losing track of time when I'm with him." She hoped that a cheesy line like that would save her from the wrath. And she could see that it was taking Mimi all her strength to keep the glare on and not squeal in delight.
Mimi huffed, "Fine, I'll tell you." Sora grinned and urged her to continue.
"Well, lately someon-" Sora frowned, "I meant something. Something's been on my mind and the only way I top thinking about hi- It. The only way I can stop thinking about it is when I shop." Mimi finished hoping Sora would let her slip ups pass.
Sora smirked, "Someone, huh?"
"No, no I meant something!"
"Sure you did."
"I really did."
"Then what is this something?"
"Pokemon. I can't stop playing."
"Mimi!" Sora glared at her best friend, "If you don't come clean I'm not gonna help you." She threatened.
"But I am addicted to Pokemon." Mimi mumbled.
Sora pretended to leave, hoping Mimi would cave, and she did.
"Fine! You know who I'm talking about." She muttered as her face turned red.
"I'm sorry I have no idea who you're talking about." Sora feinted innocence.
"But you do."
"No, I don't."
"You're gonna make me say it out loud, aren't you?"
"Yup."
"Go back to Taichi."
"Fine I will."
"Fine, leave."
"But I should tell you that while most of the stuff can be returned or exchanged, you're stuck with the toilet paper."
"Argh, fine! It's Yamato, okay? I'm in love Yamato!"
Sora laughed as her best friend buried her face in the pillow. Now that she had gotten Mimi to admit the problem, she just had to help her solve it. If she would've known that toilet paper was the magic word, she would've used it a long time back.
A/N: Hope you liked it! ^o^ Might write a second chapter from Yamato's point of view XD
