I sat at my desk, deep in thought.
How to get revenge? How, how? How to get power, how to get their rings...
My thoughts were interrupted by Kirika crashing up the stairs. I didn't turn around when she greeted me.
"Big brother, please listen!" she pleaded. I sat still, waiting for the news.
"Karin-chan and the others are coming. They look... ready to fight."
When I started to get up, Kirika held me back.
"Please, brother, stop it! I don't want you or anyone else to get hurt."
I shook her off angrily. Why was Kirika always like this? She didn't seem to support me in anything. I wasn't even sure whose side she was on anymore.
I grabbed my bag of disguises and ran out the door. I hardly heard Kirika's call of "stay safe" as I rushed away, following my enemies. I whipped on a disguise and when I finally caught up with them, I followed about a block behind. I needed to stay hidden. This time, I would have the element of surprise on my side.
I wondered where they were going. Obviously not to my house, or any other place I knew. So where?
I found out soon afterwords, when they stopped and set their stuff down on a bench in a park.
A park? I thought. Why would they want to go to a park?
For the first time, I really got a good look at their stuff. They had bags and picnic baskets... is this what Kirika had meant by "ready to fight"? Was this all some sort of big joke?
Still, I was cautious, in case it was a trick. There didn't seem to be anything suspicious about it. They were having a picnic in the park, and they were having a good time. Then something hard hit me on the head.
"Ouch!" I yelled. I found myself face down on the ground. I looked up. Everyone was staring down at me.
"Mr. Glasses Man?" the girl Karin asked.
"Karasuma!" Kujyou yelled accusingly. "Were you spying on us?"
I got up and stood there awkwardly. Then I realized something- this was the perfect time for an attack! They weren't suspecting anything! I was about to transform when the little black-haired girl came up to me. I looked down at her.
"What?" I asked. She looked afraid, but she was actually smiling at me. A thought came to my head. If I could snatch her, they would come to rescue her, where I would be waiting for them. An evil smile appeared on my face. The backed up before she spoke.
"I was wondering if you would like to join us."
I stood there stunned. A friend of Kujyou had just asked me to have a picnic with them.
Before I could protest, Kirika jumped out of the bushes.
"Let's join them!" she shouted.
After a thoroughly exhausting- but rather tasty- picnic, I sat down on my bed. Why in the world did my annoying little sister have to spoil all my plans? Then I realized what I needed. I needed a plan. A good plan. A plan that would completely tear the enemy apart.
