AN: I'm really sorry if this is bad, but this is my first Percy Jackson poem Fanfiction and well I tried… but I hope that you like it. BTW... Annabeth's POV.. And I do not own anything .. except the poem..

I saw you on the deck the other day,

But when you saw me you ran away.

I was confused at first, but I always know,

You found out what I did to you and I'm so very sorry.

Later that day your father came,

Bringing you more sadness along the way.

You tried to call your mother and stepfather,

Key word: tried, when you called you found out they died.

You just stand there, letting the tears fall.

I imagine what you're feeling,

Pain, Sadness, Anger….

But the biggest feeling of all; betrayal.

You just had enough and ran away,

Ran away from the place you used to call home.

You felt used, betrayed, played, depressed, furious and alone.

Memories and words ran through your head, you ran faster,

Each footstep breaking the ground.

You run, you always run,

We tried finding you, but you just disappeared.

As the years past, they were forgetting you, and me.

But most importantly we were forgetting us.

Now as I look through the horizon, I whisper my two final words,

"I'm sorry", then fell of the cliff.

What I didn't know was that beneath the forest,

You were watching, you were always watching.
