Chapter 0- Prologue. The monsters of the yami's eye.
It had been several years from yami's defeat. Okami amaterasu had returned to the celestial plain, and Waka, the half-backed prophet as quoted by Issun, had returned with her. Speaking of Issun, all was going well for the small bug. He was jumping around, selling wall scrolls of okami amaterasu equipped with Solar Flare, the most powerful weapon of the Gods, and Tsundre beads, the ice rosary. All was well for all these individuals, but for some others, things were not as well.
Shiruni, Amaterasu's father*, had been fatally injured as a wolf, and had to return to celestial plain in somewhat disgrace. Shiruni had prided himself in being undefeatable, and being beat out of his wolf form by the two clockwork owls didn't go well on his pride. He thought he had failed to be a good God for Amaterasu to look up to, and went back to celestial plain and locked himself away for what he hoped would be years.
Even though it looked like Yami had been beaten for years, no one suspected in the slightest that it had a successor; Yata. Yata was just like its predecessor, although Yata was much more skilled in the art of trickery and forgery. Yata was able to take on a human form, but only for a few hours. It would do this to lower its targets defences, and then turn back to its real form and kill its target. Yata was a killing machine, and destined to take over all of Nippon, and then it hoped it could take over the world.
A/N: I'm sorry it is kind of short; I got writers block half-way through typing this up! Please review and tell me what you think! In the next chapter, we meet Shikeki and find out how she is related to the legendary Okami Amaterasu! *I am not sure of Shiruni's relationship with Amaterasu, but I guessed he is her father, if he is not, he will be in this story. Also in the next chapter, we find out EXACTLY what Yata is planning to do and does… (evil face) any ways, SD101 signing out!
