Well, it had been an interesting day on Wawanakwa from the get-go. Sabrina got up as usual, only to find 5 of her friends fighting like rabid dogs.
Words were jumbled up between Cameron, Noah, Alejandro, Tyler, and Ezekiel.
"Oh, they sound like ANIMALS," said Katie.
"That they do," agreed Sabrina. "That they do…"
A few moments later, the group still bickering, Sabrina got out her spell book.
"I of newt, and lizards tongue
Command their throats to another one
Change them to a different noise
Hurry up, and fix those boys!"
Now, the five didn't know what was in store for them, but as soon as the magic hit them, well, you could probably guess.
Noah tried to speak, but only croaked like a frog.
Cameron only bleated like a goat or a ram.
Alejandro brayed like a donkey.
Ezekiel lowed like a caribou or a moose.
Tyler barked like a hound.
"There," said Sabrina to Katie and the group. "They got what they deserved."
"Baa-aa-aa!" yelled Cameron, which in sheep meant: "You WITCH!"
"You know VERY well, I don't speak goat."
Sabrina and Katie left. Now, others didn't understand the boys, but they could understand each other.
"Sabrina's done it this time!" said Noah.
"I'll say! I can't spend the rest of my life speaking like this!" said Tyler.
"What's more embarrassing to you: speaking like a dog, or a sheep?" asked Cameron to Tyler.
