Alex Russo didn't listen to her parents often. It wasn't her style, she liked to rebel and cause mischief. But for the first time, she wished she had. She shouldn't have casted the spell, since not even death could stop her feelings. It ate at her and she was beginning to fall apart.

~A moment of bliss
Sparked by a kiss
Find my love
And grant my wish~

"Wait, Alex, did you say Miss?" Harper asked, Alex's eyebrows shot up her forehead.

"Uh no, Harper. I said 'kiss'. I like boys," Alex said firmly, and Harper shrugged.

"Whatever. Let's hope your magic heard you right," she said, Alex stopped and blinked at her best friend.

"Harper. You don't know anything about magic," Alex waved her off. Little did she know Harper was right, but yet again, Harper always had a knack for being right.

It started later that day when she saw Stevie, the fellow Wizard was creating some hijinks in the library by bewitching books to bite. The first thing she thought besides how much fun that looked, was how cute Stevie looked today. And it wasn't in the same manner of wanting to steal the girl's clothes. Damn it Harper, she silently cursed her best friend and how right she had been.

That's when Stevie caught her checking her out and Alex blushed and Stevie looked amused.

"See something you like Russo?" She teased and the middle Russo blushed and looked away.

"I-uh" she stuttered and Stevie laughed at her.

"No need to get weird on me," the other Wizard told her, "I know I look good." Stevie winked and began to walk past her. Alex inhaled, catching the scent of her hair and this time Stevie whirled around. "Dude, now that's a little weird."

"Sorry!" Alex seized her arm and instantly felt a rush and marveled at how soft Stevie's skin was. She tugged her to a dark corner where they wouldn't be overheard. "I accidently messed up a love spell and it's making me want you."

"Oh." That seemed to do two things to Stevie, surprised and silence her. Those two tasks were nearly impossible.

"And I don't know what your deal is, boys or girls but either way, I don't want to lead you on because I'm straight. It's this stupid spell!" she hissed and Stevie blinked at her. "The one thing is I don't want to mess up our friendship or hurt you," she hadn't known the girl long but it was clear that something was wrong and it was something deep. She had her moments where she looked so sad and upset and Alex didn't want to add to it.

"Don't worry your pretty little head, Alex, you could never hurt me," Stevie said, not realizing that yes, Alex could hurt her, and she would die. As Stevie went to move away, Alex grabbed her arm again and pulled her to her. She pressed her lips to Stevie's and was filled with bliss.

The pulled apart looking at each other and Alex felt something within her break as Stevie wordlessly walked away from her. Little did she know within weeks she would literally watch Stevie break into thousands of pieces, her death would always haunt her. At first she laughed at the sight, it seemed too unreal to believe. A girl her age, a Wizard with the same goal and attitude; someone who was so much like her, lying dead on the floor. Later she sobbed, knowing full well, partly thanks to that spell, she would never love anyone like she did Stevie.
