Maes's POV

"Rina! Rina!" I shouted for my best friend, technically, my only female friend.

"Maes, what do you want?" she said, giving the same look with her dark, piercing eyes.

"There's going be a party in town tonight, and I was wondering if you would like to go." I asked.

She was silent for a minute, but she finally said "What time?"

"Nine o' clock." I smiled.

"Fine. I'll go." she said behind gritted teeth.

"I'll pick you up later. Bye Rina!" I said while running.

Rina's POV

'Finally, I get to rest from working.' I thought when I plopped on the sofa. I dozed off for three hours.

I woke up and looked at the clock. 'I only have 10 minutes to get ready?' The thought screamed inside me. I rushed myself. I was ready and so was Maes. We left and arrived at the party.

"You look beautiful Rina." he smiled. He got closer and claimed he was 'pushed'.

"Shut up..." I blushed. My favorite song started playing. I wanted to dance, but I didn't want to be embarrassed.

"Everyone get on the floor and move your feet. And I do mean everyone. Including the cute female in the sexy red dress." some guy on stage shouted and pointed a spotlight on me. Now, this was embarrassing.

I was getting pushed and shoved by dancing people. I bumped into Maes.

Maes's POV

I held onto Rina. She was blushing.

"If you want to dance, I won't laugh or stop you." I whispered.

I guess she didn't cared what people thought now. She started dancing. The drummer must thought it was a good idea to play drums when she danced. Now she became the main attraction of the whole party.

There were drums in the air as she started to dance.
Every soul in the room keeping time with their hands.

Everyone was cheering her on. I got sucked into it.

And we sang
Ay, oh, ay, oh, ay, oh, ay.

Then out of nowhere, someone shoved me and everyone was yelling at me to join with her. I did. So they can shut up.

She took my hands and we got lost in the music. With every step, I got closer, till we were face to face.

"Maes, I'm having more fun than I thought I would." She whispered.

"Me too." I replied. I danced till we were outside, alone. My arm was around her waist. My heart racing. I guess I have to admit it, I love Rina.

She smiled the whole way back to her place.

"Maes, I had a great time, and I hope we can do this again." she said before walking in.

"Rina, wait!"

"What Ma-?" she said before I cut her off with a kiss.

And at the same time, our thoughts poured out, "I love you." we said in unison.
