Digital World: location underground southern sector

It felt like it was burning with hell fire underground, Gennai and his fellow identical counterparts felt like their skin was melting as they went deeper underground. Then they heard the sound of large hammers pounding against metal. They followed the sound, until a weird form of breathing as if it was passing through a thick layer of metal.

"Pain, agony, my hatred burns through the cavernous deeps." a dark ominous voice spoke. Gennai then crouched behind the corner from where voice was coming from, he looked to see who or what it was, but all they saw was a dark hooded figure with smoke emitting from the bottom of its cloak.

"The world heaves with my torment. It's terrible kingdoms quake beneath my rage." The mysterious figure spoke. Gennai then looked to where the loud sound of hammering metal, it was a bunch of Gazimon wearing armor and holding large hammers.

"But at last the whole of the digital world will break… and all will burn beneath the shadow of my wings." the figure spoke with an aggressive tone. Then the ground that the Gazimon were standing on was slightly moving, but then the unexpected happened, a large wing emerged from what they thought be the ground only to then realize it was a large dragon.

"We must inform Lord Azulongmon with these turn of events." Gennai told his other counterparts.

"No you won't." the figure informed them.

"What? You knew we were here the whole time?!" Gennai asked it. The figure slowly approached them and answered.

"Yes, y'know you're not very stealthy when push comes to shove."

"Who are you then?" Gennai demanded.

"I'm your worst nightmare Gennai." The figure told him as he removed his hood.

"You're not digidestined." Gennai said to him.

The figure revealed himself to be a young teen with long shiny black hair down to his shoulders, it was slicked back. He then told them "Tell that to my two digimon." as he told them that, a DemiDevimon and Keramon appeared from behind him.

"Wait… if you're digidestined then why do you have an army of Gazimon creating metal around that creature? Also then that means you know about the other digidestined?" Gennai continued to ask the young man. The teen took a few more steps closer to him as did his digimon along with him.

"Yes… yes I do know about them all. Kari, Davis, Yolei, Tai, Mat… all of them Oh and by the way, you were wondering why I have an army of Gazimon? It's quite simple, you see my friend down there, yeah that's Deathwing and trust me when I say this he doesn't like any of you pieces of filth or Azulongmon the supposed god of the east and neither do I." he chuckled.

"If you kill us then Azulongmon will stop you." Gennai told him.

"NO ONE CAN STOP DEATH!" he shouted at them as a pair of sickles generated in his hands. Gennai and his counterparts then charged at him but it was no use, he moved fast and lighter than a feather, before anyone could figure out what he was doing half of the counterparts were dead on the ground and all their data was disappearing forever. He then charged at Gennai and forced his sickles into his ribs, lifting him off the ground and saying to him "Do you feel dead? Do you feel that dark abyss dragging you down into hell?" Gennai tried to move but couldn't.

"Tell the digidestined that the darkness always will exist forever!" he ordered Gennai as the young man then made him forget about most events that had transpired during that time.

Odaiba High School: location courtyard

The sky was a dark grey and rain fell like as soft as a carpet. The rest of the digidestined were waiting on Ken and Wormmon.

"Esh what's taking him so long?" T.K. asked impatiently.

"T.K. relax he's just probably letting his mother know that he's going to be late getting home." Kari told him. It felt like they had been waiting for hours, until Ken's voice called out saying "Hey guys sorry I'm late."

"Don't worry let's just go to the computer room." Davis said to Ken with a relaxed tone in his voice. As they were walking to the room Ken asked them what did they need to do.

"Well Gennai sent us a message to head to the digital world right away. Although I wonder why?" Tai reminded him.

Odaiba High School: location computer room

As the digidestined arrived in the computer room they saw Izzy sitting in a chair with his arms crossed and his eyes closed looking frustrated.

"What the hell took you so long, y'know what I don't care, let's get going now!" Izzy ordered.

"Hey Izzy just relax, what's the problem?" Mat asked him with a tone of worry in his voice.

"Well Izzy was waiting on you all he decided to ask Gennai himself about what is going on, then Gennai told him that there is great evil that has been unleashed and that's more powerful that anything we have faced in our life." Tentomon informed them. The digidestined looked shocked wondering what it could be. Kari then broke the silence by asking Izzy "Well did he say what it was specifically?" everyone than glancing Izzy and Tentomon. He then opened his eyes looking at them.

"No he didn't." He told everyone with a more relaxed expression in his voice.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go kick some evil ass!" Yolei shouted. They all noded their heads in agreement

"Digiport open." T.K. shouted.

Digital World: location eastern sector

As the large group arrived in the digital world, they saw Gennai sitting on a large stone. As the digidestined got closer they started to see cuts, scrapes and bruises on him, they all ran towards him about to ask him what happened, when all of a sudden he spoke.

"The evil wanted me to give you all a message. Darkness will always exist… forever!"
