A/N: Hello. This is Lord Lithos Maitreya.

For the past while, the idea of a Spyro series has sat in my mind. It's ready to be written when I have time. Books one and two will be crossed with Starcraft, out of the confirmed three. This poem is a sneak peek to the climactic battle in the end of book two, titled 'Hierarch'. I'll say no more now. Enjoy.

The Plains of Avalar

On the plains of Avalar,
The Protoss blades will sing.
On the plains of Avalar,
Death, their light shall bring.

On the plains of Avalar,
The Zerg's bone scythes shall fly.
On the plains of Avalar,
Our foe's last doom is nigh.

On the plains of Avalar,
The Terran guns will fire.
On the plains of Avalar,
The last defense of Aiur.

On the plains of Avalar,
The Overmind is come.
On the plains of Avalar,
Her roar's a victory drum.

On the plains of Avalar,
The Hierarch is nigh.
On the plains of Avalar,
It's time, my foes, to die.

On the plains of Avalar,
Claw meets shining claw.
On the plains of Avalar,
Flame comes from his maw.

On the plains of Avalar,
The Fallen One is here.
On the plains of Avalar,
Xel-Naga's end is near.

On the plains of Avalar,
Blood is spilled this night.
On the plains of Avalar,
Aid us in our plight.

On the plains of Avalar,
The Gold One at our head.
On the plains of Avalar,
Last march of the dead.

On the plains of Avalar,
Eternal is our foe.
On the plains of Avalar,
Now our lives are woe.

On the plains of Avalar,
This is our final hour.
On the plains of Avalar,
Now things do look dour.

The Hierarch did leave us then,
As Shadow claimed our men.
The time of peace is still afar,
On the plains of Avalar.

A/N: Would I be being an idiot if I said I was really, really proud of this? Tell me in a review please!
