ICHIGO'S POV
"Rukia!" I screamed, trying to catch up to her. We were both in Soul Reaper form and she was using flashstep to gain speed.
She looked behind her as she ran and smiled, "Catch me if you can, Strawberry!"
I pushed myself forward, desperately trying to catch her. When had she gotten so fast?
Her movements were quick like a deer and she curved through the trees that she had been doing it her whole life. "Hurry up Ichigo! I might just lose you!"
By now she was almost completely out of sight. "Dammit," I growled.
I stopped running and waited. She was gone from my sight completely now. "Rukia!" I yelled. My echo was all that greeted me.
The wind cut through the trees and pulled gently at my Shinigami robes. I reached out to our bond and found her just slightly the the left of me.
As fast as I could, I flashed stepped quickly to her hiding spot and tackled her. Letting out a scream, she tried to crawl away.
"Not so fast, Little Red Riding Hood."
She laughed, "How'd you find me? I was hiding my spiritual pressure."
I grinned triumphantly, "That's the bond."
"What?"
"The bond, Rukia. The bond we share." She smiled and rolled onto her back beneath me.
"Ah yes, how could I forget?" She nuzzled my neck. "You know I love you right?"
I grunted, "You better."
She shook her head and elbowed me in the face. I got off her and she kissed me, "You won't catch me this time!" And with that, she shot into the woods again.
I let out a bark of laughter, "Don't count on that!" And the chase began again. Now matter where or when, if Rukia ran I would follow.
That's to all the uncool people who were like 'You violated the rules by putting this on here' or whatever. Well guess what? That up there is a short story and below? Yeah, that's an author's note. Enjoy :)

Alright, since IchiHime fans are a bunch of babies, they've reported me twice now for what I had originally posted below. Yes, I know, mature right? It's pathetic. So I'm going to make this short, mean and to the point. There will never be IchiHime. That relationship is dead and onesided. Ichigo can do so much better. IchiRuki, it's an unbreakable bond. You're delusional if you can see Ichigo dating Orihime. Get your head checked. I hope all the sane people (IchiRuki fans) enjoyed the story and I'm sorry for the insane people.
