Since I've had a Coheed and Cambria obsession lately, I figured I would write a story to one of their songs. Just a little backstory: Coheed and Cambria are the parents of Claudio Kilgannon, a messiah who must destroy the URA (United Red Army) and it's leaders Wilhem Ryan and General Detinwolf. The Keywork is one of the planets in the universe they live in and in this universe some are not human. Coheed, Cambria and their family are, for example, IRO-bots, or genetically modified android/humans.
"I'm sorry," said the main with deeply brown skin and one glowing green eye under a metal, face molded sheath. "It's the only way to protect the citizens of The Keywork."
Cambria, distraught, raked a hand through her hair, muffling tears. "We can find a cure. There's a cure for this...thing."
"Mrs. Kilgannon, I assure you, we have been working tirelessly to find a cure for this virus. Unfortunately, it has mutated and spread quickly, and soon, your children, all of them, will turn into mages. They must be stopped before any damage can be done to the Keywork."
Coheed, unable to process the fact that his genes, the Sinstar virus coursing thorugh his veins had passed down to his children. Josephine, Matthew, Maria, Claudio. They had all contracted the Monstar virus and it became genetically mutated into the Sinstar virus. "This is my fault. I did this... I gave them this virus. I--"
"Mr. Kilgannon, you, nor anyone else is at fault here. Only, if you choose not to destroy the virus and put the Keywork in danger will anyone be at fault. This," General Detinwolf said, pulling a small vile from his jacket. "Will take care of them, quickly, and painlessly. We are," he said giving Cambria a small bow, "extremely sorry this had to happen." Coheed gave him a small nod and General Detinwolf saw this as an open invitation to see himself from the Kilgannon household. He closed the door behind him, finally able to express the large grin that had been screaming away at his jaw muscles for the duration. All he had to do now was sit back and wait as the Kilgannon IRO-bots destroyed themselves.

Cambria Kilgannon, formerly known as the Knowlege of the KBI, was headstrong. She would never blame her husband for the misfortunes placed upon them, but she refused to punish herself for his blood. She would not kill her children. She would never find it in herself to kill them, and she did not want to. Coheed, on the other hand, could muster up something she'd rather not call courage to carry out the deed. She could never fathom doing it herself. But there was a reason he was known of the Beast of the KBI. The only problem of that was how all of the KBI's memories had been erased, including the Jessie's, Coheed's brother and Inferno of the KBI. Coheed was beastly, whether she remembered the KBI or not, but he was not heartless.
The Beast walked back into the room he shared with Cambria with his head in his hands, presumably to console himself as his red eyes spilled tears over Matthew, and Maria, his star. Cambria need no words from him, racing up to the twin's room. She burst into the twins' room, "Maria! Matthew!" she shouted, seeing their limp bodies lying on the floor of their room, with empty glasses next to them. She fell to the floor, gathering them into her arms. The Knowledge began to rock back and forth, her youngest children firmly in her arms, as tears fell from her eyes to their clothes.
"Maria my star...Matthew goodnight. I'll be forgiven," the Beast mumbled to himself with blood red eyes. He dreaded how he would do the same to Josephine, and Claudio. How could he? How had he?
