Summary: This is an extended scene from last night's new episode. Morgan checks in on his baby girl after her talk with Hotch.
A/N: So I loved last night's episode for several reasons as always the biggest reason being the ending; I absolutely loved what Hotch said to Garcia but my muse has decided that there was something missing. That's why instead of working on more chapters of Rock Solid like I should be I ended up writing this. Don't worry though I assure you there is a new chapter of that on the way. He had wanted to go her as soon as they arrived back. He wanted to help her just like she always helped him and the rest of the team. She was their internal bright spot and hearing her sound so dim had been almost unnerving to say the least. So with that in mind he'd decided to go straight to her after they'd gotten off of the plane. Only one thing had stopped him and that had been Hotch, who had claimed that he needed to talk with her.
That's why at the moment he was waiting in the hallway rather than making sure she was okay.
"She's all yours," Morgan heard his boss say as he stopped right in front of him.
"Thanks," Morgan said before going heading towards her bunker.
Moment later he found her with a rather perplexed look on her face.
"Hey baby girl, you okay," He asked in greeting.
She nodded before softly saying, "I uh was expecting a lecture I guess and all he did was thank me and tell me that he didn't want me to change."
"Good, I'm glad because you're perfect just the way you are," Morgan said as he moved closer to her and wrapped an arm around her.
With a smile that let him know she was on her way back to the Penelope Garcia they all knew and loved she leaned into him for a few moments before saying, "I figured you'd be on your way home to Clooney."
"Nope not when my goddess is all out of witty retorts and giggles,' He explained.
"Well don't worry hot stuff, I'm on the mend," She replied with another smile.
He nodded because he could see that there was a little sparkle back in her eyes, "What do you say to getting out here and letting me restore you all the way?"
"What'd you have in mind my vision," She agreed as she threw away the pieces of paper she had in her hand away and picked up her bag.
"Oh just you, me, lots of snuggling, and a movie or two," Morgan answered as they made there way out of her bunker.
"Sounds perfect," She said as they got on the elevator.
Two hours, a movie, and lots of snuggling in his arms later her restoration was complete. Her giggles had returned full force and she was back to nearly making him blush with more than few of her retorts.
"Thank you," She said sleepily as she kissed him goodnight on the cheek.
"Anytime, princess, anytime," He replied with a smile. Thinking to himself minutes after she'd fallen asleep that it felt so good to return the favor for once. She restored him all the time why shouldn't he do the same for her?
