Attacking Infants

Manny, Helen, and Pierce trespass in D'Void's citadel before they discover why it's never a good idea to attack a father's babies.

D'Void was by a crib and grinned at two baby Null Guardians. There were many stuffed animals in the crib. One stuffed animal happened to be in a Null Guardian's tentacle. Three animals remained near the other Null Guardian.

Many lasers went by D'Void before he gasped. He recognized them from Manny's weapons. *My enemies are attacking my babies AND trespassing in my citadel?* he thought while he trembled with rage. D'Void's eyes increased in size after the frightened infants sobbed. ''Daddy will protect you.''
He looked back.

D'Void scowled the minute he saw Helen with Pierce and Manny. ''You will suffer for attacking my babies.''

''Oh?'' Manny muttered under his breath. He saw a sudden grin on D'Void's face. Manny turned his head before he saw three adult Null Guardians.
All of his eyes widened at the same time.

The trio ran from the Null Guardians.

D'Void embraced the infants. His grin came back. ''Daddy will protect you. Always,'' he said to them.
