''I hope you enjoy your new home, D'Void. You are never getting out,'' Manny said. He observed his enemy sitting in a cell. ''You're not going to conquer the Null Void again.'' Manny smiled at D'Void. ''You are going to endure solitude for the rest of your life.''
Helen and Pierce approached Manny at the same time. They saw a frown on D'Void's face.
''Are you hungry, D'Void?'' Helen asked.
D'Void nodded.
''I'll obtain soup,'' Helen muttered under her breath. She turned to Manny. She tilted her head in confusion after the latter departed. After shrugging, Helen went to obtain soup. She eventually returned with a bowl. ''Please open the door, Pierce,'' she said.
Pierce obeyed. His eyes remained on Helen as the latter placed the bowl near D'Void. He closed the door after Helen approached him.
''Do you know where Manny is?'' Pierce asked.
Helen shrugged again.
D'Void scowled at the bowl and never ate anything. ''You're probably trying to poison me,'' he said to Helen and Pierce.
Helen and Pierce exchanged confused glances. They frowned at D'Void.
''Pierce and I are not killers,'' Helen said.
D'Void sipped a tiny bit of soup. ''Not bad,'' he muttered. He glanced at Manny as the latter appeared. ''At least I'm not being poisoned.''
Manny grinned. ''You are never getting out, D'Void,'' he muttered under his breath.
