Kion was pacing around in front of The Pride Rock. ''What am I gonna do? What if I end up like Scar?'' The young prince worried. ''What if I'm not good enough to be a leader?''

''Is everything alright, Kion?'' It was his older sister, Kiara.

''Dad said I'm the next lion guard leader.'' Kion began. ''But I'm afraid, what if I'll end up like Scar?''

Kiara smiled. ''You won't. You'll make a fine leader, I know it.''

''How do you know? What if I mess up?''

''You won't. Trust me, you'll be a great leader. I can feel it.''

''How?''

''Because I'm your older sister. And I can feel what my little brother feels.'' Kiara said.

''Do you really believe I'd do fine?'' Kion asked.

''Sure you will.''

''My friends believe in me. And I don't want to let them down.'' Kion stared at the ground.

''And you won't let them down. If you believe your instincts, you'll know where it leads you.''

''Instincts. That's what grandpa Mufasa told me today.''

''He spoke to you?''

Kion nodded.

''That also proves that you're very special, grandpa doesn't speak to many lions.'' Kiara said. ''Only the ones who need help.''

''Do you think I'm special?'' Kion wondered. He wasn't sure if he's fit enough to be the leader of his own guard.

''You are. You're my little brother. And I know you would do well.'' Kiara said, firmly.

''Thanks, Kiara. I think I'm ready now to be one true leader.'' Kion smiled and turned, making his decision.

''And one more thing, Kion!'' His older sister called.

Kion turned.

''You will not become like Scar.'' Kiara said. Kion smiled and then ran off to meet up with his friends.
