How Alyssa got her powers

A few months after Alyssa was born, Silver and Blaze were taking her on a stroll through the park. They had her in a stroller. It was pink with yellow cats and purple dogs. The day was sunny, and the sky was cloudless. Silver and Blaze were in a park with a steep hill. Blaze caught Alyssa looking curiously at something.

"Yes, those are birds. There's a mommy, a daddy, and a baby" For some unknown reason, Silver released the stroller; at the top of a steep hill. It took them a split second to realize that their daughter was in mortal danger, and they RACED after her, with her crying all the way.

"Silver," shouted Blaze, "use your powers."

"If I do," said the hedgehog, "she'll fly out."

"Just DO IT!" shouted Blaze, "then catch her when she does."

"I'll try," Silver put out his hand, the stroller stopped on a dime. Alyssa, flew out, but stopped in mid-flight, floating in midair.

"Way to go, Silver,"

"I only stopped the stroller." Silver outstretched his hand and pulled his daughter toward him. He cradled her against his chest, and burst out laughing. Blaze didn't think it was so funny. She came and bashed Silver in the head with her fist. He loosened his grip on Alyssa, just enough to allow Blaze to pry her from his hands. Alyssa was still crying,

"Did daddy scare you?" she asked, "Well don't worry; he won't watch football for a month."

"That's not fair," said Silver,

"Thanks to YOU, our daughter almost died, it's PERFECTLY fair." It was noon; about the time Blaze would breastfeed Alyssa for lunch. She did it in a stall in the women's bathroom.

It was summer, and Silver was playing catch with his seven-year-old daughter. She threw the ball, at burst into flames as it left her hand. Silver managed to put out the fire with his powers, but the ball hit him where no man wants to be hit; HARD. Blaze soon taught her how to control her flame.
