Hi everyone. This is my first Kuroko no Basket fanfic. This is based from a song by Perfume entitled "Negai".
"Omedetou, Kagami-kun."
Kuroko says as he tries to smile to his now former shadow as he shakes his hands. The taller guy's wedding ring shines brightly and Kuroko cannot help but notice it.
"Arigatou, Kuroko." Taiga says with a smile.
The tall red haired looks really handsome in his black tuxedo which is almost enough to take the smaller guy's breath away.
"Kana, this is Kuroko. One of my team mates when I was still in our Basketball team during my highschool days."
"Nice to meet you, Kuroko-san." The shy girl smiles at Kuroko. She's wearing a simple white gown with a white veil but her beauty is still very visible.
"The program is about to start. Let's proceed to our table." Taiga says happily.
"I'll be on my way to our team's table. Congratulations again." Kuroko says
Kuroko didn't go to the table but decided to roam outside around the venue of the wedding reception which has a vast garden where he found a bench and sat in there.
"Eh..? W-why..?" he was surprised when a he felt tears to start running down his cheeks
"It's your fault for not saying anything to him...so why are you crying now?" Kuroko whispers to himself.
More tears began to fall from his eyes as his expressionless face becomes overwhelmed with emotions as he cries quietly in the vast garden.
If we had a little more courage
It might seem to come true
But we think "it will come true, whether we try or not"
Like parallel lines, our distance never changing.
We have hesitated to think of our most precious feelings, haven't we?
